Do you want the controller to revert to its

initial operating mode after a longer / short

period of time?

By pressing the hour glass button, you increase or

decrease the current operating mode changeover-

duration in increments of 0.5 h. Proceed as

follows:

• Press

once

The time starts flashing

• Press

to change the time in the range 0.5

... 24 h

5 seconds after the last push, the new

changeover-duration will automatically be saved

and the display stops flashing.

Note:

If the value entered for the changeover-duration is

00.0 h, automatic operating mode changeover will

be inactive.

Do you want to change the operating mode

for a limited period of time only (e.g. during

the night)?

By pressing this button, you switch from one

operating mode to the other for a limited period of

time, either

• from normal operation to energy saving mode

(or off)

• from energy saving mode (or off) to normal

operation

This operating action is selected with the DIP

switch prior to installing the unit.

After pressing the button, the operating mode will

change. If, previously, a operating mode

changeover-duration > 00.0 h was entered, the

operating mode will automatically be reset when

the changeover-duration has elapsed.

When this symbol appears, you need to replace the

batteries within the next two weeks.

• Get two new alkaline batteries type AAA, 1.5 V

• Remove the battery holder, then the batteries,

insert the new batteries and replace the battery

holder.

• Make certain the old batteries are disposed of

properly, in compliance with environmental

requirements

Energy saving tips without sacrificing

comfort

• Never allow room temperatures to exceed 21 °C

• Press

to change to energy saving

mode, even if you are absent for short periods of

time only

• Air out the rooms for short periods of time only,

but properly, with the windows wide open
