17. Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting from the wall outlet.

18. Under no circumstances open the appliance casing. Do not insert any foreign objects into

the inside of the casing.

19. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could

pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and

accessories.

20. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open ames. Always operate the

appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry surface. Protect the appliance against heat,

dust, direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and splashing water.

21. Do not place heavy articles on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open

sources of re, e.g. candles, on top or beside the appliance. Do not place objects lled

with water, e.g. vases on or near the appliance.

22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or by those who lack experience and knowledge,

unless they have been given supervision and instruction concerning the use of the

appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

23. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

24. If the power cord should overheat, stop using the appliance and disconnect the appliance

from the wall outlet.

25. Place the appliance on a re resistant surface only. Avoid placing the appliance on or

close to easy inammable materials. Keep a minimum distance of 15cm to walls and other

objects.

26. Do not place the appliance on a plastic table cloth.

27. Protect the temperature dial from being hit, strong vibrations or dropping.

28. Use the supplied temperature dial only. Do not use temperature dials from other

appliances.

29. Make sure that the temperature dial is connected correctly. Do not pull the temperature

dial on the cord, only on the plug.

30. If the temperature dial should overheat or is damaged, let the appliance be repaired by

your retailer. Do not try to repair the temperature dial yourself. Danger of electric shock!

31. Make sure that before unplugging the temperature dial is set to position 0 (off).

32. Always connect the temperature dial with the appliance rst, then with the wall outlet.

33. Keep the temperature dial and the contacts free from dirt.

34. During use the appliance becomes very hot. Grab it with mittens on the handles only.

35. Do not move the appliance while it contains hot oil or other hot uids. Set up the appliance

at the desired place in advance.

36. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.

37. The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate

remote-control system.
