Prima di usare l’erogatore acqua
- Togliere l’imballaggio dall’apparecchio.
- Togliere il coperchio (H) (Fig. 2) ed estrarre il serba-
toio superiore (G) (Fig. 3) ed il serbatoio acqua filtrata
(F) (Fig. 4). Lavarli con acqua tiepida saponata, sciac-
quare e far asciugare bene.
- Rimontare il serbatoio acqua filtrata (F).
- Rimontare il serbatoio superiore (G) facendo coinci-
dere i propri incavi inferiori con le sporgenze poste
sulla parte superiore del serbatoio (F) (Fig. 5).
- Versare acqua pulita nel serbatoio superiore (G)
fino al raggiungimento del livello “MAX” indicato sul
serbatoio stesso (Fig. 6).
Mentre si versa l’acqua mettere un bicchiere sotto
l’erogatore e spingere la leva (C) indietro per preleva-
re l’acqua. Ripetere l’operazione alcune volte.
Nota: Premere la leva (C) permette di sostituire l’acqua
all’aria entro il serbatoio interno (E). Ciò significa che
quando si utilizza l’apparecchio per la prima volta l’ac-
qua entra nel circuito interno del prodotto e dopo alcuni
istanti fluirà completamente.
ATTENZIONE:
Non collegare l’apparecchio alla corrente e non
installare ancora il filtro (D).
Preparazione della cartuccia filtrante
dell’acqua
Preparare la vostra cartuccia filtrante (D) seguendo
attentamente tutte le istruzioni sulla confezione. Togliere
la cartuccia dal suo imballaggio (Fig. 7). Ci può essere
un piccolo residuo di particelle nere (carbone attivo) nel
sacchetto o aderente al corpo della cartuccia, ciò è nor-
male. Queste particelle sono innocue e vengono lavate
via durante il processo di preparazione.
Agitare la cartuccia (D) nell’acqua fredda per assicu-
rarsi che tutte le bolle d’aria vengano eliminate (Fig. 8).
Alcune particelle libere di carbone attivo possono esse-
re rilasciate durante questo processo. Ciò è normale e
non influisce sul rendimento.
Ora la cartuccia filtrante è pronta all’uso.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
- Togliere il coperchio (H) (Fig. 2) ed estrarre il serba-
toio superiore (G) (Fig. 3).
- Posizionare la cartuccia (D) nella base del serbatoio
superiore (G). Allineare l’aletta del filtro con la flangia
di tenuta del serbatoio. Premendo, avvitare in senso
antiorario finché non è fissato saldamente (Fig. 9).
- Rimontare il serbatoio superiore (G) e quindi chiudere
applicando il coperchio (H), facendo coincidere i pro-
pri incavi inferiori con le sporgenze poste sulla parte
superiore del serbatoio (Fig. 5).
- Sollevando l’apposita parte apribile del coperchio
(H), versare acqua pulita nel serbatoio (G) fino al rag-
giungimento del livello “MAX” indicato sul serbatoio
stesso (Fig. 10).
Occorrerà un po’ di tempo prima che si percepisca
l’azione filtrante del filtro stesso.
- Continuare ad aggiungere acqua fino a riempire
entrambi i serbatoi (G-F). L’acqua scorre nel filtro
secondo un flusso prestabilito.
Nota: Se l’apparecchio è stato svuotato si raccomanda
di premere la leva erogazione (C) con un bicchiere
mentre si riempiono i serbatoi, questo per evitare che
rimanga dell’aria dentro l’apparecchio. Una volta che
l’acqua ha iniziato a scorrere dal rubinetto erogatore, si
può rilasciare la leva (C).
- A questo punto è possibile procedere con l’eroga-
zione di acqua a temperatura ambiente: mettere
un bicchiere sotto l’erogatore e spingere la leva (C)
all’indietro (Fig. 11).
- Nel caso in cui si desiderasse acqua fredda, inserire
la spina nella presa di corrente e premere l’apposito
interruttore (B) posto sul retro dell’apparecchio. Si illu-
minerà l’interruttore stesso ad indicare che il motore
ha iniziato il processo di raffreddamento.
Nota: Svuotare l’apparecchio dall’acqua non filtrata
prima di filtrarne della nuova.
- Quando l’interruttore (B) si illuminerà di colore blu,
l’acqua si sarà raffreddata di circa 8/10°C rispetto
alla temperatura ambiente. Il motore si azionerà e fer-
merà automaticamente per mantenere la freschezza
costante dell’acqua.
- Mettere un bicchiere sotto l’erogatore e spingere la
leva (C) all’indietro per erogare l’acqua (Fig. 11).
- Rabboccare il serbatoio (G) quando necessario,
sollevando l’apposita parte apribile del coperchio (H)
(Fig. 10).
ATTENZIONE:
Assicurarsi che la cartuccia sia saldamente bloc-
cata.
Quando si usa l’apparecchio normalmente bisogna
rabboccare i serbatoi con regolarità.
Cambiare la cartuccia filtrante
- Svuotare i serbatoi (F-G) e togliere il coperchio (H).
- Estrarre il serbatoio superiore (G) e ruotare il filtro
dell’acqua (D) in senso orario per sganciarlo dalla sua
sede.
- Inserire la nuova cartuccia come descritto in pre-
cedenza e rimontare il serbatoio superiore (G) ed il
coperchio (H).
Indicatore di vita della cartuccia fil-
trante
La durata della cartuccia filtrante (D) è calcolata auto-
maticamente dal timer, funzionante a batterie, e visualiz-
zata sul display (A) posto sul coperchio (H).
Per assicurare alla vostra cartuccia il miglior rendimen-
to, questa deve essere cambiata dopo 150 litri, che sono
approssimativamente 4 settimane per una famiglia tipica
che vive in una zona dove l’acqua è dura.
- Dopo aver inserito il nuovo filtro nell’apparecchio,
premere il pulsante RESET, posto sul display stesso,
per 4-8 secondi e rilasciarlo.
Sul display (A) comparirà il numero “30” ed il timer
inizierà a funzionare (Fig. 12).
- Quando sul display (A) comparirà il numero “00” ed
inizierà a lampeggiare, occorre cambiare il filtro (D).
Ogni volta che viene sostituito il filtro (D), ripetere
l’operazione da capo per reimpostare il timer corret-
tamente.
Cura del sistema
L’acqua è un genere alimentare. Vi consigliamo di
consumare l’acqua filtrata entro 2 giorni. Nel caso in
cui l’apparecchio non venga usato per più di 48 ore,
riempirlo due volte con dell’acqua fredda, e svuotare
l’acqua prima di continuare ad usarlo normalmente.
Se il sistema non viene utilizzato per un lungo periodo
di tempo (per esempio, durante le ferie) vi suggeriamo
di togliere il filtro e di riporlo in un sacchetto di plastica
pulito e di conservarlo in frigo. Ciò aiuterà a mantenere
in buono stato il filtro quando non viene usato.
Dopo il periodo di conservazione in frigo e prima di
usare il filtro, seguire la solita preparazione e le solite
istruzioni.
Il filtro va conservato senza essere esposto alla luce
diretta del sole e lontano da fonti di calore.
I serbatoi d’acqua ed il coperchio devono essere lavati

Before using the water chiller
- Remove the appliance from the packaging.
- Remove the lid (H) (Fig. 2) and take out the top tank
(G) (Fig. 3) and filtered water tank (F) (Fig. 4). Wash
them in lukewarm, soapy water; rinse and dry thor-
oughly.
- Refit the filtered water tank (F).
- Refit the top tank (G) so that the bottom slots meet
with the tabs on the top part of the tank (F) (Fig. 5).
- Pour clean water into the top tank (G) as far as the
“MAX” level on the tank itself (Fig. 6).
While pouring in the water, place a glass under the
dispenser and push the lever (C) back to collect the
water. Repeat this operation several times.
Note: Press the lever (C) to replace the air in the internal
tank (E) with water. This means that when using the
appliance for the first time, the water enters the internal
circuit of the appliance and after a few seconds it begins
to flow completely.
IMPORTANT:
Do not connect the appliance to the mains power
supply and do not fit the filter (D).
Preparing the water filter cartridge
Prepare your filter cartridge (D) by carefully following all
of the instructions on the packaging.
Remove the cartridge from all packaging (Fig. 7). There
may be a small residue of black particles (carbon) in the
bag or adhering to the cartridge body, this is normal.
These particles are harmless and are washed off during
the preparation process.
Shake the cartridge (D) in cold water to ensure that any
trapped air bubbles are removed (Fig. 8). Some loose
carbon particles may be released during this process.
This is normal and does not influence performance.
Your filter cartridge is now ready for use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Remove the lid (H) (Fig. 2), and take out the upper
water tank (G) (Fig. 3).
- Fit the water filter (D) on the upper tank base (G).
Align the wing of the filter with the retaining flange on
the upper water tank. Press and turn anticlockwise
until it is firmly in place (Fig. 9).
- Refit the top tank (G) and then close, fitting the lid (H),
so that the slots in the bottom fit over the tabs on the
top part of the tank (Fig. 5).
- Lift the special opening section in the lid (H), and pour
clean water into the tank (G) up to the “MAX” level
marked on the tank itself (Fig. 10).
A little time will pass before the filter can be seen to
be working.
- Continue to add water until both tanks (G-F) are full.
The water flows into the filter, following a set path.
Note: if the appliance has been emptied, it is necessary
to press the dispensing lever (C) with a glass, while the
tanks are being filled. This is to prevent air from remain-
ing inside the appliance. Once the water has started to
flow from the tap, it is possible to release the lever (C).
- At this point, it is possible to dispense water at room
temperature: place a glass under the dispenser and
press the lever (C) back (Fig. 11).
- For chilled water, plug the appliance into the mains
power and press the special switch (B) on the back.
The switch will light up to show that the motor has
begun the chilling process.
Note: Empty all water from the appliance before refilling
with new water.
- When the switch (B) lights up blue, the water has
been chilled to 8/10°C less than room temperature.
The motor will start and stop automatically to keep
the water cool.
- Place a cup under the dispenser and push the lever
(C) back to pour water (Fig. 11).
- Fill up the tank (G) when necessary, lifting the special
opening section of the lid (H) (Fig. 10).
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the cartridge is firmly locked in
place.
When using the appliance, the tanks need to be
filled regularly.
Replacing the filter
- Drain the water from the tanks (F-G) and remove the
lid (H).
- Take the top tank (G) out and turn the water filter (D)
clockwise to release it from its holder.
- Insert the new cartridge as described previously and
refit the upper tank (G) and the lid (H).
Filter lifespan monitor
The lifespan of the cartridge filter (E) is automatically
calculated by the battery-operated timer and is visual-
ized on the display (L) positioned on the cover (A).
To ensure the best performance, your cartridge must be
changed after 150 litres which is normally 4 weeks for
an average family that lives in a zone where the water
is hard.
- After inserting the new filter in the appliance, hold
down the RESET button on the display for 4-8 sec-
onds and release it. The display (A) will show 30 and
the counter will start (Fig. 12).
- Replace the filter cartridge (D) when the display (A)
reaches “00” and begins to flash continuously. Every
time you replace the filter, reset the indicator again
following the above instructions.
Care of the System
Water is a foodstuff. We recommend using the filtered
water within 2 days. If the appliance is not used for more
than 48 hours fill it twice with cold water and empty
the water before continuing to use it normally. Should
the system not be used for an estende period of time
(for example, a holiday) we recommend that the filter is
removed and placed in a clean plastic bag and stored
in the fridge. This will help to maintain the filter when
not in use.
Before using the filter after storage, follow the prepara-
tion and fitting instructions for use as normal.
The filter should be stored out of direct sunlight and
away from heat sources.
The water tank and the cover must be regularly washed,
or at least when the filter is substituted.
IMPORTANT:
Ariete guarantees the correct operation of the appli-
ance only when used with original Ariete Hidrogenia
filters.
CLEANING
Rub the inside and outside with a damp cloth to clean
the water filter and the tanks. Don’t use any washing-up
liquid or anything that may taint the water.
Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or sol-
vents.
IMPORTANT:
There is a drainage cap under the appliance that
needs to be unscrewed after all of the tanks (F-G)
have been emptied and the appliance has been
unplugged from the mains power, to remove any
remaining water in the internal tank (E).
Empty the appliance completely and clean it thor-
oughly at least once every 3 weeks.

PULIZIA
Strofinare all’interno e all’esterno con un panno umido e
pulire il filtro dell’acqua ed i serbatoi. Non usare nessun
tipo di detersivo per piatti o nulla che possa contaminare
l’acqua.
Per la pulizia non usare solventi o prodotti aggressivi
o abrasivi.
ATTENZIONE:
Sotto l’apparecchio, è presente un tappo di drenag-
gio che deve essere svitato, dopo che tutti i serbatoi
(F-G) sono stati svuotati e dopo aver staccato la
spina dalla presa di corrente, per rimuovere l’acqua
residua dal serbatoio interno (E).
Svuotare completamente l’apparecchio e pulirlo
bene almeno una volta ogni 3 settimane.
