Complete information on these settings can be found in Section 4.2 of this

manual, “Remote Node Service for ISDN”, and in “Configuring RNSI Param-

eters for Each ISDN-Controller” in the “NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 Instal-

lation and Administration Guide”, pp. 90–93.

Please note that configuration changes only take effect after NetWare Con-

nect for ISDN has been restarted. Stop and restart NetWare Connect for ISDN

by entering the commands nwcstop and nwcstart at the server console.

A description of the port allocation mechanisms for incoming and outgoing

connections can be found in the sections “Dynamic Port Allocation and Port

39.

For detailed information on the forwarding of incoming connections in the

LAN, please see the “NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 Installation and Admin-

istration Guide”, sections “Forwarding Incoming Calls to Applications”, pp.

37–39, and “Dialing in to NetWare Connect for ISDN Services”, pp. 214–227.

For instructions on operating several NetWare Connect servers in a WAN

connected by dial-up lines, see the “NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 Installa-

tion and Administration Guide”, section “More Than One NetWare Connect

for ISDN Within a WAN Connected over ISDN”, pp. 207–208.

All components of NetWare Connect for ISDN are ready for the transition to

the year 2000, as are the AVM ISDN-Controllers B1, T1 and T1-B.

Please note, however, that NetWare Connect for ISDN builds on components

of the NetWare operating system which may be affected by Year 2000 prob-
