plaything.

• WARNING: do not use this unit

over or near water contained in

wash basins, bathtubs, showers

or any other vessels.

• If the appliance is used in a

bathroom, unplug it after use.

Using the appliance near a source

of water may be dangerous, even

if the appliance is unplugged. For

greater safety, we recommend

using a residual current device

(RCD) with a tripping current of

not more than 30mA. Ask your

electrician for advice.

• Do not immerse the appliance in

water or any other liquid.

• Stop using the appliance

immediately if the cord is

damaged. The cord must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its

after sales service or a similarly

qualied person to avoid risk of

injury to the user.

• While using the appliance, do

not cover the appliance’s air

grilles. Ensure that there is no

hair or other residue obstructing

the grille on the back of the

appliance.

• This unit has a safety thermostat.

If it overheats, it will turn o

automatically. If necessary, push

the switch on the handle to the

OFF position, unplug it and allow

it to cool down for 10 minutes.

BEFORE using it again, ensure

that there is no hair or anything

else obstructing the rear lter of

the unit. Plug the unit in and turn

it on. If it overheats again, stop

using the unit immediately, turn it

o and unplug it. Return the unit

to the BaByliss Service centre

• Do not leave the appliance

unattended while it is plugged in

or in use.

• Avoid contact with the appliance’s

hot surfaces, in particular, with

ears, eyes, face and neck.

• This product is not designed to

be used by people (including

children) with reduced physical,

mental, or sensory capacity, nor

by those with no prevoius knowl-

edge, or experience in using it,

unless under the supervision of

somebody responsible for their

security, or with previous instruc-

tion in it’s use. Adults are advised

to ensure that children do not play

with this product.

• Allow the appliance to cool

before storing.

• After use, do not wind the cord

around the appliance as this may

damage it. Instead, roll the cord

up loosely and let it hang by the

side of the appliance.

• This appliance meets the
