F ollow the instructions on the symbols of the garment ’ s wash
care label . The value indic ated in the symbol is the maximum
recommended temper ature for washing the garment.
Daily Mix W ash & Dr y
use programme 1 to w ash and dr y mixed garments (cott on and
synthetics). This cycle may be used to wash and dry loads of up to 3,5 kg;
we recommend the use of liquid det ergent.
The use of the steam in this prog ramme is optimised to reduce the
formation of creases on garments , making them easier to iron.
Shirts W ash & Dr y
Use programme 3 t o wash and dr y shirts and T -shir ts in dieren t fabrics
and colours to ensure maximum car e. This cycle may be used to wash and
dry loads of up to 3 kg. T o achieve optimum results, use liquid deter gent
and pre-treat cus, collars and stains . The use of the steam in this
programme is optimised to r educe the formation of creases on garments ,
making them easier to iron.
Pre Iron
Use this programme immedia tely before ir oning; max. 2 kg load. The use
of the steam in this programme is optimised t o reduce the formation of
creases on garments, making them easier to iron.
Steam Refresh
F or refreshing garments, neutralised unpleasan t odours and relaxing the
bres by delivering st eam into the drum. The garments will be damp at
the end of the cycle.
Cotton
Suitable for washing to wels, underwear , table cloths, etc . made of
resistant linen and cotton tha t are moderately to hea vily soiled.
Synthetics
Suitable for washing moderat ely soiled garments made of synthetic bres
(e.g. poly ester , polyacrylic, viscose, et c.) or mixed synthetic-cotton bres .
Anti-Stain T urbo 45’
This cycle is ideal for washing daily stains in 45’ . It is ideal for mixed fabrics
and coloured garments.
If the dr ying option is selected, a drying c ycle automatically activates at
the end of the wash cycle that resembles open-air drying, with the added
advantages of preserving garments from yellowing due to sunligh t
exposure and prev enting loss of whiteness caused by the possible
presence of dust in the air . Dr yness level “A2 ” recommended .
Anti-Stain 100
This cycle is suitable to heavily-soiled garments with resistan t colours. It
ensures a washing class that is higher than the standar d class (A class).
When running the programme , do not mix garments of dierent c olours.
W e recommend the use of powder det ergent. Pr e -treatment with special
additives is recommended if ther e are obstinate stains.
If the dr ying option is selected, a drying c ycle automatically activates at
the end of the wash cycle that resembles open-air drying, with the added

Whites
F or heavily soiled whites and resistant colours .
Eco C otton
Suitable for washing moderat ely soiled cotton garments. At 40°C and
60°C it is the standard cycle for washing cott on garments, and is the most
ecient in terms of combined water and electricity consumption.
Colours
F or washing coloured cotton garments . This programme is optimised t o
keep colours bright even after repeat ed washing.
Ultra Delicates
F or washing very delicate garments. It is advisable to turn the garments
inside out before washing them. F or best results, use liquid detergent on
delicate garments.
When selecting an exclusively time-based dr ying function, a dr ying cycle
is per formed at the end of the wash cycle that is particularly delicate,
thanks to light handling and appropriate t emperature contr ol of the
water jet.
The recommended dur ations are:
1 kg of synthetic garments --> 165 min
1 kg of synthetic and cotton garments --> 180 min
1 kg of cotton garments --> 180 min
The degree of dryness depends on the load and fabric composition.
W ool - W oolmark Apparel Care - Green:
The W ool wash cycle of this machine has been approved
by The W oolmark Company f or the washing of wool
garments labelled as “hand wash ” provided that the
products are washed accor ding to the instructions on the
garment label and those issued by the manufacturer of
this washer-dr yer (M1135). The W oolmark logo is a
Certication mark in many countries.
F ast 30’
F or washing lightly soiled garments in a short time. Not suitable for wool,
silk and garments to be washed by hand.
Rinse
Designed for rinsing and spinning.
Spin & Pump out
Designed for spinning and draining the wa ter .
DISPLA Y
The display is useful when prog ramming the machine and provides a
great deal of inf ormation.
The following will appear in ar ea A : the icon and programme selected, the
washing and drying phases and time remaining to the end of the cycle.
Area B will include the two intensity levels r elative to the CLEANING
ACTION option. The indicator lights relativ e to the available functions
appear in area C . Area D will displa y the time remaining to the start of the
selected cycle if the DELA Y TIMER function was set.
Area E will display the maximum a vailable spin speed on the basis of the
set cycle; if the cycle does not include the spin c ycle setting, the dimly lit
“-- ” symbol will appear in the area.
Area F will show the temper ature value that can be selected on the basis
of the set cycle.
If the c ycle does not include setting of the temper ature, the dimly lit “-- ”
symbol will appear in the area.
! The rst time the machine is switched on, you will be asked t o select the
language and the display will automatically show the language selection menu.
T o select the desired language press buttons X and Y ; to conrm the
selection press button Z .
T o change the language, switch o the machine and press buttons G, H
and I simultaneously until a buzzer sounds: the language selection menu
will appear again.
! T o change the display luminosity, which b y default is set to the highest
value, switch the machine o then simultaneously pr ess buttons G , L and
M until the buzzer sounds.
Press butt ons X and Y to choose the desired level of luminosity then
conrm by pressing button Z .
! During the wash cycle or when the DELA Y TIMER function has been enabled,
if the user does not interact with the display for 1 minute the SCREEN SA VER
activates. T o return to the previous window , simply press any button.
Locked door indicator
When lit, the symbol indicates that the door is locked . T o prevent any
damage, wait until the symbol turns o bef ore opening the door .
T o open the door while a c ycle is in prog ress, press the ST ART/P AUSE
button ; if the symbol is o , the door can be opened.
FIRSTTIME USE
Once the appliance has been installed, and bef ore it is used for the rst
time, run a wash cycle with detergent and no laundry , by setting the “ Auto
Clean ” cycle.
DAIL Y USE
Prepar e the laundr y by follo wing the suggestions appearing under the
“ TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS” section.
- Press the ON/OFF butt on ; “ BA UKNECHT ” will appear on the display;
the indicator light rela tive to the ST ART/P AUSE button will ash slowly .
- Open the door . Load the laundry while making sure not to exceed the
maximum load quantity indicated in the wash cycle table.
- Pull out the deter gent dispenser drawer and pour the deter gent into the
relevant compartments, as described in the “DETERGENT DISPENSER
DRA WER” section.
- Close the door .
- Use the W ASH C Y CLE selector knob to selec t the desired wash cycle: the
cycle’ s name will appear on the display; the c ycle will be associated with a
specic temperature and spin speed which can be modied . The duration
of the cycle will appear on the display .
- Modify the temperature and/or spin speed: the machine automa tically
selects the maximum temperature and spin speed set for the selected
wash cycle; these values cannot therefor e be increased. P ressing the
button gradually reduc es the temperature down t o the cold wash setting
(the “--” symbol will appear on the display). Pr essing the butt on
gradually reduces the spin speed un til it is completely excluded (the “-- ”
symbol will appear on the display). Pr essing the buttons further restores
the maximum allowed values f or the selected c ycle.
- Select the desired options.
- Press the ST AR T/P A USE button to star t the wash cycle; the relative
indicator light will light up steady and the door will lock ( symbol on).
P A USING A CY CLE
T o pause the wash c ycle , press the ST ART/P AUSE button again; the
indicator light will ash. T o start the wash c ycle from the point at which it
was interrupted, pr ess the ST ART/P AUSE button again.
