TREATMENT
Before using for the first time, remove the light
display label from the treatment head.
STEP 1
Thoroughly cleanse your face.
Gently place the treatment
head onto the skin.
STEP 2
To start the treatment, briefly
press and hold the ON/OFF
button until the treatment
lights illuminate.
STEP 3
Hold in position for 8½
minutes.
The unit will automatically
power off after 8½
minutes.
When the unit powers off, move to the next
treatment area and repeat steps 2–3.
STEP 4
To switch the unit off at any
time, press the ON/OFF
button.
After use, clean the treatment
head with an antiseptic wipe.
You can continue with your normal beauty
routine immediately after treatment.
CHARGING
IMPORTANT: Charge the unit for 1 hour
before using for the first time.
The battery level indicator lights around the ON/
OFF button show the status of the battery. One
light is low, four is fully charged.
Note: When the unit is fully charged it will
automatically enter a sleep mode and the
battery level indicator lights will go out.

To charge, connect the power
adapter into the charging dock
and plug into the mains.
STEP 2
Place the unit in the charging
dock. It takes about 60 minutes
to fully recharge.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATION
IN USE
When the battery level is low,
a single light will flash to
indicate recharging is required
and that at least one treatment
is left.
If no lights illuminate when the
ON/OFF button is pressed, it
indicates the battery is flat and
needs to be recharged.
SKINCLEAR LIGHT
Regardless of age, acne can be a
problem. The Rio SKINCLEAR LIGHT
uses blue and red light technology
to help manage mild to moderate
acne. The blue light kills the primary
bacteria involved in acne, (P. acnes)
while the red spectrum light helps
reduce inflammation.

mains supply by unplugging the power
adapter. Please ensure that the power
adapter is positioned so that it is easily
accessible.
• DoNOTimmersetheunitinwater.Wiping
with a damp cloth is sufficient to clean.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
• NOT suitable for people who are photosensitive
or who have photosensitive skin. Common
medications can cause photosensitivity so if
you are on any medication you should check for
photosensitivity warnings and if in any doubt
