• The Chicco Classic Analogue

Baby Monitor should not be

used as a medical monitor

and is not intended to replace

the supervision of children by

adults. It is designed to provide

support in monitoring them.

All other use is to be consid-

ered improper.

• Place the child unit and par-

ent unit out of the reach of the

child on a ﬂat, stable surface

• Keep the child unit, parent

unit, rechargeable batteries

and AC/DC mains adapters

out of reach of children (mains

adapter cords could cause

strangulation).

• It is important to regularly

check the proper functioning

of the child unit (primarily in

transmitter mode) and the par-

ent unit (primarily in receiver

mode), particularly before each

use, checking that signal recep-

tion is possible in the area and

at the maximum distance of

the intended use.

• The maximum operating dis-

tance is around 150 metres in

an open space without obsta-

cles (this range could be re-

duced considerably indoors ac-

cording to the environmental

situations, the layout of walls

and furniture, the presence of

metal structures, electromag-

netic ﬁelds/disturbances of

internal or external origin, re-

inforced concrete walls, when

rooms are located on different

ﬂoors or because batteries are

not fully charged etc.).

• When the child unit and/or

parent unit are powered with

alkaline and/or rechargeable

batteries, the product will stop

working if the charging level

is not sufﬁcient. It is therefore

always advisable to check the

charging level of the alkaline

and/or rechargeable batteries

when switching on both units.

• In the event of a sudden elec-

tricity outage, when the par-

ent unit (primarily in receiver

mode) is being powered with

the provided mains adapter,

the product will only stop

working if the charging level of

the batteries is not sufﬁcient or

if the batteries have not been

inserted in the battery com-

partment. It is therefore always
