OPERATION AND USE
Before Use Instructions
1. Select a firm, level and flat surface to place the air purifier. For proper air flow,
locate the unit at least 3 feet from any wall or furniture.
2. Do not place the unit in close proximity to electronic devices that are sensitive to
electrical fields.
3. Do not place the unit on metal shelving. Air purifier may be placed on floor,
nightstand, table or desk. Make sure that the outlet grille faces away from the
nearest wall or furniture.
4. Make sure that the intake and outlet grilles are not blocked.
5. Plug into a grounded 120V outlet. See manual SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Operating Instructions
1. Turn control knob to desired setting.
2. Select setting LOW for whisper quiet operation or use in
the bedroom.
3. Select setting MED to operate the air purifier on a
continuous use.
4. Select setting HIGH when high levels of air pollutants are
present to quickly circulate and filter the room air.
5. The Air Purifier Power Light will illuminate red when power is ON.
6. Blue UV Indicator Light will illuminate when power is ON. NOTE: Both red and
blue lights will illuminate when power is ON. If the Blue UV Indicator Light
does not illuminate blue when the red power light is ON, then the UV Light
needs to be replaced.
REPLACING THE HEPA FILTER
On average, the HEPA Filter needs to be replaced every 3-6 months. Filter life will
depend on air quality and usage.
1. ALWAYS turn off and unplug the air purifier from
power outlet before replacing the filter.
2. Remove each of the filters from the unit by pulling
gently toward you.
3. To replace the HEPA filter, discard the old HEPA
filter. DO NOT attempt to clean the HEPA filter.
Place the washable particle filter on the new HEPA
filter. Insert the new HEPA filter into the unit by
sliding it into place.
4. To close the rear door, place bottom rear door tab into tab slot and close door.
DO NOT force the door to close. NOTE: if there is any uneven closure at the
bottom of the rear door, the door is not closed securely. You will need to insert
bottom tab again into slot and close door again. The rear door must be evenly
flush with the air purifier body.
