• The helmet was developed for use when cycling and is not to be used in

motor racing or for rock climbing or the like.

• A fall can produce damage to the helmet that is not visible but will still

make it unusable. The helmet should always be replaced after a hard fall or

impact, even if it appears to be undamaged.

• Please note that the helmet can even break, depending on the force and

angle of the impact, and it has in fact been designed to do so to prevent

impact forces from being transferred to the head.

• The helmet can be damaged by contact with sharp-edged objects or rocks.

• Always comply with the relevant trac regulations while riding.

• Always ensure that the helmet is located optimally on your head during

use. It may not be allowed to slip, since in such a case it is no longer possib-

le to guarantee that it oers adequate protection.

• No helmet can possibly oer complete protection against unpredictable

injuries! A helmet can only prevent the wearer from suering severe head

injuries after a fall. We recommend that you also use arm, knee and elbow

protectors.

• Do not wear a hat or scarf under the helmet, and do not bundle up long

hair under the helmet. Risk of injury!

• Always fasten the chin strap while using the helmet!

• The helmet must be replaced after no more than 5 years, even if it is unda-

maged.

• The eects of paints, varnishes, stickers, cleaners, chemicals or solvents

can seriously aect the protective capability of the helmet. Only clean the

helmet with lukewarm water.

• The helmet must be optimally adjusted to suit your head so as to provide

maximum protection. Do not use the helmet if it cannot be adjusted opti-

mally. Choose a dierent model.

• The original components of your helmet may not be removed or modied.

This does not concern the visor, which can be removed optionally.

• Do not attach any objects such as mirrors or lights to your helmet. The shell

of the helmet can deform under high temperatures (more than 43° C) .

• Do not keep the helmet in a car or in the vicinity of direct or indirect sour-

ces of heat. Do not use the helmet if the shell has become soft or has been

deformed.

• The helmet is not to be worn by children for games or other activities in

which there is a risk of strangulation.

• The visor does not in itself oer any protection in the event of a fall, but it

does not have an adverse eect on degree of the safety provided by the

helmet.
