ance.

z Keep children away from packaging material. Please dispose of responsibly.

Hazard from electricity

z The mixer must not be operated with a damaged connecting line or other damages on

the device (fall damage).

z Never try to open the device by yourself. Do not carry out any modifications to the

appliance or its mains cable. Only allow repairs to be carried out on appliances by a

professional workshop.

z If the connecting line of the hand mixer is damaged, it has to be replaced by the

customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent risks.

z Only connect the mixer to a properly installed socket with protective contacts.

z Disconnect the mains plug from the socket:

- if you are inserting/removing the beaters/dough hooks from the mixer,

- if you are not using the mixer,

- after each use,

- before cleaning or putting the appliance away,

- if an obvious fault occurs during operation,

- in a thunder storm.

Always pull on the plug, not on the cable

z The mixer must not be immersed in water or other liquids. Electric shock hazard! Also,

do not use the device in the direct vicinity of moisture sources, e.g. a sink.

z Do not operate appliance outdoors.

z Ensure that the socket is well-accessible, so that you can remove the mains plug quickly,

if necessary.

z Unwind the power cable completely prior to use. Ensure that the power cable is not

damaged by sharp edges or hot items.

z If an extension line is necessary, pay attention whether the extension is designed for

the performance of the device. Consult with your specialist supplier.

Injury hazard

z Do not use the mixer without operator attention.

z Never touch the beaters or the dough hooks when the hand mixer is switched on.

z Be careful not to have enter your hair and your clothes between the rotating beaters

or dough hooks!

z Never allow the mains cable to hang over the edge of a table or worktop.

z After switching off, the beaters/dough hooks continue to run briefly. Wait until the

inserts have stopped completely before handling the mixer.
