CONSEGNE DI SICUREZZA

Precauzioni da prendere quando si utilizza la pressa da stiro :

– Leggere tutte le istruzioni prima di utilizzare la pressa.

– Utilizzare la pressa solo per l’uso per il quale è prevista : la stiratura.

– Prima di collegare la pressa da stiro, controllare il voltaggio sulla targhetta segnaletica

(applicata sotto la base della pressa) ed assicurarsi che corrisponda alla tensione di rete.

– Utilizzate obbligatoriamente una presa di corrente che comporti una presa di terra, e questo

per la vostra sicurezza.

– Non mettere mai la spina nella presa e non togliere mai la spina dalla presa con le mani

bagnate.

– Per mettere la pressa fuori circuito, non tirare mai sul cavo elettrico, ma sulla presa di

corrente.

– Il cavo elettrico non deve toccare nessuna superficie calda. Lasciare raffreddare

completamente la pressa prima di riporla.

– La pressa non deve essere utilizzata se il cavo elettrico è deteriorato, se la pressa perde o

è danneggiata. Per evitare ogni rischio di elettrocuzione, non smontare la pressa da stiro :

recarsi nel Centro di Assistenza Tecnica per farla controllare e riparare.

– Quando utilizzate il vostro apparecchio in presenza di bambini, è necessario essere molto

vigili. Sistematelo lontano dalle mani dei bambini.

– Evitare di collegare numerosi apparecchi di forte potenza sullo stesso circuito elettrico.

– Come prolungamento elettrico, occorerà utilizzare un cordone d’alimentazione di 10

Ampere. Sistemare il prolungamento in modo da non poter inciampare o disinserirlo

inavvertitamente dalla presa.

– Non lasciate mai inserito il vostro apparecchio senza sorveglianza.

– Disinserite imperativamente l’apparecchio per riempire il serbatoio d’acqua.

– Non immergete mai il vostro apparecchio nell’acqua o in un altro liquido.

– Non mettere mai acqua calda nel serbatoio dell’acqua.

– Non mettere la mano tra il tavolo da stiro e la piastra riscaldante durante la stiratura.

– Affidate ogni riparazione del vostro apparecchio ad un centro d'Assistenza autorizzato. Esso

sarà così riparato secondo le norme descritte su questo libretto.

– Ogni infrazione commessa da una persona non autorizzata annulla la validità della

garanzia.

Il fabbricante si riserva il diritto di modificare i modelli presentati nonché le caratteristiche e gli

accessori degli stessi.

L’apparecchio che avete appena acquistato è conforme a quanto prescritto dalla direttiva

europea bassa tensione 73/23/CEE relativa alla sicurezza ed alla direttiva CEM 89/336/CEE

relativa alla compatibilità elettromagnetica, emendate dalla direttiva 93/68/CEE.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your ironing press, basic safety precautions should be followed,

including the following :

1. Before plugging in your ironing press, be sure the electrical information on the

label on the bottom of the base agrees with your power supply.

2. Read all instructions before using the ironing press.

3. Use ironing press only for its intended use.

4. The ironing press should always be TURNED OFF before plugging or

unplugging from outlet.

NEVER yank cord to disconnect from outlet ; instead, grasp plug and pull to

disconnect.

5. DO NOT allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let ironing press cool completely

before putting it away.

6. DO NOT operate ironing press with a damaged cord or if the ironing press has

been dropped or is damaged. To avoid the risk of an electrical shock, DO NOT

disassemble the ironing press ; take it to your nearest service centre for

examination or eventual repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause risk of electric

shock when the ironing press is used.

7. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children.

DO NOT leave ironing press unattended while connected or on a table.

8. This is a 1650 W appliance. To avoid a circuit overload, DO NOT operate

another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.

9. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 15-ampere cord should be used.

Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange

the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.

10. Accessible parts of casong will get warmer than 60°C (140° F).

11. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the ironing press in

water or other liquids.

12. Always disconnect ironing press from electrical outlet when not in use.

13. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts or steam. Use caution when you

handle an ironing press.
