■ The light may not be used for the direct irradiation of people,
animals or plants.

or poisonous and explosive fumes.

■ The article must not be used if it shows obvious signs of
damage.
■ Store the article out of the reach of children.
■ Do not leave the article unattended during operation.
■ In the interest of your own safety, inspect the article for damage
each time before you use it. Only use the article if it is not
damaged!

■ Do not insert anything into the openings of the article.
■ Do not cover the article during operation in order to prevent the
device from catching fi re.
■ In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the
fl ames with a fi reproof blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.

■ Protect the article from heat sources, naked fl ames, sub-zero
temperatures, direct sunlight, persistent moisture and wet con-
ditions as well as collisions.
■ Do not use any sharp or pointed objects made of metal to clean
the article. These could damage the article.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the article! These could damage the surface.

Unpack the items supplied and remove any possible protective
fi lms or stickers. Check for possible transport damage. If you fi nd
any damage to the article, do not use it (!), but contact our custo-
mer service department.

The LED in this article cannot be replaced. If the lamp
stops working, the article should be disposed of.
Use
1. Screw the LED light into a suitable lamp fi tting (E27). When
you do this, make sure that the light switch is switched off
and the lamp fi tting is not live!
2. Switch on the LED light and the insect trap by switching on the
light switch.
3. To switch on just the insect trap (without light), the light switch
must be switched on twice (On-Off-On).
Cleaning and Storage
The insects must regularly be removed from the article.
We recommend cleaning the article at least once a week
or more frequently.
1. Make sure that the light switch is switched off and the lamp
fi tting is not live!
2. Unscrew the article from the lamp fi tting.
3. Remove the dead insects using the cleaning brush or a similar
implement.
4. Wipe down the article if necessary using a soft, dry cloth. More
intense soiling can be removed with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
5. Then thoroughly dry off the article.
6. Screw the article back into the lamp fi tting.
7. Keep it out of the reach of children and animals in a dry place
that is protected from direct sunlight when it is not being used.
