Explanation of symbols and signal words

Danger symbol: This symbol indicates danger of physical

injury. Read the associated safety instructions carefully,

and comply with them.

Wiring symbol for direct current

WARNING warns of possible serious injuries and danger to

NOTICE warns of material damage

Intended use

• The product is used for decorating interior spaces. The product

is not a toy.

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use. Only

use it as described in these operating instructions. Any other

use is regarded as improper use.

WARNING – risk of injury

■ Risk of suﬀ ocation! Keep children and animals away from

plastic bags and foils.

■ Danger of chemical burn from battery acid!

– Batteries can be life-threatening if swallowed! Therefore,

keep the batteries and product out of reach of children and

animals. If a battery has been swallowed, seek medical help

immediately.

– If a battery leaks avoid physical contact with the battery acid.

Wear protective gloves. Should this occur, rinse the aﬀ ected

areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek

medical attention immediately.

NOTICE – risk of material and property damage

■ Only use the battery type speciﬁ ed in the technical data.

■ Always replace all batteries. Do not use diﬀ erent battery types

or brands, or batteries with diﬀ erent capacities. When changing

batteries, pay attention to the polarity (+ / –).

■ Remove batteries if they are used or if the product will not be

used for a long time. This helps prevent damage from leaks.

■ Remove leaking batteries immediately.

■ Never submerge the product in water or other liquids!

■ Protect the product from heat, open ﬂ ames, direct sunlight,

sub-zero temperatures, prolonged humidity, moisture and im-

pacts.

■ The LED cannot be replaced.

■ Never use harsh or corrosive cleaning agents or rough sponges

when cleaning. These can damage the surface.

■ Do not disassemble the product or try to repair it. In case of

damage contact customer service.

Included in delivery

• 1 x LED candle with projector

• 4 X Motif stencils (1 x Hearts, 1 x Snowﬂ akes, 1 x Christmas,

1 x Easter)

• 1 x operating instructions

Please note: 3 batteries (1.5 V; type AAA) are required for

operation. These are not included in the delivery.

Check the scope of delivery for completeness, and the compo-

nents for possible transport damage. If the product is damaged,

do not use the product but contact customer service immediately.

Insert / change batteries

Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts on the

product and the batteries are clean, and clean them if needed.

1. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the candle:

Press down on the locking mechanism and remove the battery

compartment lid.

2. If necessary, remove the used batteries and replace them with

3 new batteries (1.5 V

; type AAA). Make sure the poles are

aligned correctly (+ / –).

3. Insert the battery compartment lid and close it. There should

be an audible click as it locks into place.

Replace the batteries if the candle’s performance is weakening.

Usage

1. Insert the desired motif stencil into the slot on the side of the

candle. In doing so, pay attention to the arrow on the motif

stencil.

2. Slide the switch on the underside of the candle to the ON posi-

tion to turn it on.

3. To turn oﬀ the candle, slide the switch to the OFF position.

Cleaning and storage

• Clean and wipe the product with a soft, dry cloth. Heavy soiling

can be wiped with a damp cloth.

• When not in use, keep the product out of reach of children and

animals in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging an environmentally sound way

and take recyclables to collection facilities.

Remove batteries before disposing of the product and take

them to the appropriate collection site separately from the

product.

This product is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU

on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Do

not dispose of the product as normal household waste, but

through an oﬃ cially approved disposal business according

to environmental regulations.
