Intended Use

• This product is suitable for use as a dec-

oration indoors and outdoors. The bowl

can be planted with ﬂ owers, ﬁ lled with

water etc.

• The product is not a toy!

• The product is designed for personal use

only and is not intended for commercial

applications.

• The product should only be used as de-

scribed in these instructions. Any other

use is deemed to be improper.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

■ WARNING – Danger of Suffocation!

Keep the product and the packaging

material away from children and ani-

mals.

■ WARNING – Danger of Burns from

Battery Acid! Batteries can be deadly

if swallowed. Keep batteries and the

product out of the reach of children and

animals. If a battery is swallowed, seek

medical assistance immediately.

■ CAUTION – Danger of Burns from

Battery Acid! If a battery has leaked,

do not allow your skin, eyes and mu-

cous membranes to come into contact

with the battery acid. If you touch bat-

tery acid, rinse the affected area with

abundant fresh water immediately and

contact a doctor as soon as possible.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Mate-

rial and Property

■ Use only the battery type speciﬁ ed in

the technical data.

■ Always replace all batteries together.

Do not use batteries of different types

or brands, or batteries with different ca-

pacities.

■ Take the batteries out of the product

when they are dead or if the product is

not going to be used for a prolonged pe-

riod. This will prevent any damage if a

battery leaks.

■ Remove a leaking battery immediately.

■ Protect the product from naked ﬂ ames

and impact.

■ Never immerse the prodcut in water

or other liquids. It is only resistant to

splashing.

■ During extreme weather conditions

(e. g. storm, hail) or if the product will not

be used for a prolonged period, switch

off the product and store it in a dry place

at room temperature.

■ Do not take the product apart and do not

attempt to repair it. In the event of any

damage, please contact our customer

service department.

■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive

cleaning agents for cleaning. These can

damage the surface.

Check the items supplied for complete-

ness and possible transport damage. If you

should ﬁ nd any transport damage, do not

use the product, but contact the customer

service department.

Two batteries (1.5 V, AA type) are

required. These are not supplied with

the product.

Inserting / Changing the Battery

The battery compartment is located on the

top of the decorative column.

PLEASE NOTE: Before inserting the bat-

teries, check whether the contacts in the

product and on the batteries are clean, and

clean them if necessary.

1. Take off the bowl.

2. Reach under the edge of the battery

compartment and take it off.

3. Undo the screws with a cross-head

screwdriver and remove the battery

compartment cover.

4. Take used batteries out if necessary

and insert two new batteries (1.5 V, AA

type). Pay attention to the correct polar-

ity (+ / –) (see inside of battery compart-

ment).

5. Place the battery compartment cover

back and ﬁ x it in place with the screws.

Make sure the On / Off switch is in the

correct position.

6. Insert the battery compartment into the

recess on the top of the decorative col-

umn and press it shut.

If the performance of the product diminishes

or it starts to ﬂ icker, the batteries should be

replaced.

The battery performance may be

severely restricted in temperatures

well below freezing.

Use

1. Positioning the Product – Set up the

product in a suitable place.

2. Switching On – Press the On / Off

switch on the decorative column to

switch on the LED.

TIMER: The LED lights up for 6 hours

before automatically switching off.

It can

be switched back on again at any time

by pressing the On / Off switch again.

3. Switching Off – Press the On / Off

switch again to switch off the LED.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in

an environmentally friendly manner

so that it can be recycled.

Batteries should be removed before

the product is disposed of and should

be disposed of separately from the

product at suitable collection points.

This product is governed by the

European Directive 2012/19/ EU

on waste electrical and electronic

equipment (WEEE). Do not

dispose of this products as normal

domestic waste, but rather in an

environmentally friendly manner via

an ofﬁ cially approved waste disposal

company.
