IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

 Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

 Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.

 Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the

instruction manual together with the appliance.

 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating

plate of the appliance before using the appliance.

 Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

 People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a

safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack

of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without

supervision or instructions of a responsible person.

 Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they

use it as a toy.

 From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never use the

appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, all repairs should

be made by a competent qualified electrician(*). Never use the appliance if it shows

visible damage.

 Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions. Only use this mixer for cooking purposes.

 Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.

Never place it into the dishwasher.

 Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

 Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use.

 Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

 Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute

a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

 Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in

any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

 This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of

appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section "Important

information" in the instruction manual.

 It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct

contact with food.

 Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting, removing or cleaning one of the

accessories. It is absolutely necessary to remove the accessories before cleaning them.

 If your appliance is equipped with a stick mixer, be careful not to get cut, handle it with

care, as the blade of this accessory is extremely sharp.

 Make sure the accessory is always solidly and correctly tightened at the motor bloc before

starting the appliance.

 Make sure your hands and/or any kind of utensil stay clear of the recipient when the

appliance is in use in order to avoid serious injuries.

 When mixing warm liquid, be particularly careful as a projection of warm liquid could

cause serious burns.

 The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food that have to be

consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.

 Never touch the blade when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the

movement of the blade in any way whatsoever.

 Never use several accessories simultaneously.
