5. СЕРВИС И ОБСЛУЖИВАНИЕ
При выполнении работ по техническому обслуживанию двигател я
убедитесь, что машина не находитс я под напр я жением.
Машины фирмы Ferm созданы дл я работы в течении продолжительного промежутка
времени при минимальном техническом обслуживании.
Продолжительная удовлетворительна я работа зависит от соответствующего ухода за
машиной и регул я рной очистки.
Неисправности
На случай, если станок перестанет правильно работать, далее приводится несколько
причин и соответствующих решений:
Ремонт и обслуживание должен производить только квалифицированный
специалист или обслуживающая фирма.
Очистка
• Поддерживайте ваш станок в чистоте. Деревянную стружку и опилки удаляйте с
помощью щетки.
• Регулярно проверяйте клиновидный ремень на предмет трещин. При
необходимости замените его.
• Обеспечивайте чистоту вентиляционных пазов мотора. Удаляйте деревянную
стружку и опилки для предотвращения перегрева мотора.
• Затачивайте полукруглые долота и резцы для обеспечения легкости работы.
Смазка
Машина не нуждаетс я в дополнительной смазке.
• Заготовка вращается с биением или
не вращается вовсе при работающем
моторе.
• Резец выбивает из ваших рук.
• Проверить клиновидный ремень на
предмет трещин и убедиться, что его
натяжение в норме.
• Проверить достаточную заточку
резца.
• Выбрать для работы с данной
заготовкой более низкую скорость
посредством перемещения ремня.
• Проверить высоту упорных центров.

• Before attatching a workpiece to the faceplate always ‘rough it out’ to as true round as
possible. This will minimise vibration while turning. Always fasten the workpiece securely
to the faceplate. Failure to perform these setup operations could cause the workpiece to
be thrown from the lathe.
• Avoid awkward hand positions where a slip could cause a hand to move into the
workpiece.
• Remove all knots before installing workpiece between centres or on the faceplate.
• Never leave the lathe work area, before the lathe has come to a complete stop.
• Do not lay your turning tools on the bench so that you must reach over the revolving
workpiece to select them.
• Keep firm hold and control of the cutting tools at all times. Special caution must be
excercised when knots or voids are exposed to the turning tool.
• Think safety, ware safety goggles.
• Complete hand sanding of between centres or faceplate mounted workpieces before
removing from the lathe. Do not exceed the speed used for the last cutting operation
performed on the workpiece, in accordance with the speed chart.
• Never atempt to remount a faceplate turning to the faceplate for any reason. Never
attempt to remount a between-centres turning if the original centres in the turning have
been altered or removed. Be positive the lathe is set at the lowest speed if remounting a
between-centres turning with non-altered original centres.
• Use extra caution in mounting a between-centres or spindle turning to the faceplate, or a
faceplate turning to between centres, for subsequent operation. Be positive the lathe is
set at lowest speed for turning on.
• Never mount a workpiece that contains any splits, cracks or knots to a faceplate or
between-centres.
Immediately switch off the machine when
• Interruption of the mains plug, mains lead or mains lead damage.
• Defect switch
• Smoke or stench of scorched isolation
Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe the safety regulations applicable in your country
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Read the following safety
instructions and also the enclosed safety instructions.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Replacing cables or plugs
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs when they have been replaced by new ones. It is
dangerous to insert the plug of a loose cable in the wall outlet.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the machine.
The minimum conductor size is 1.5 mm

. When using a cable reel always unwind the reel
completely.
