5. Safety instructions

Any damage caused by not following these instructions will invalidate the warranty / guarantee!

No warranty for consequential damages is given!

For property damage or personal injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety,

we accept no liability! In such cases, the warranty / guarantee expires!

Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the device but

also for the protection of your health. Please read through the following attentively:

• All components of the system have left the factory in perfect condition. To maintain this condition and

to ensure safe operation, the user must follow the safety instructions and warnings contained in this

manual.

• The current transformer installation in your enlectrical installation shall be performed by a qualified

electrician only. Please ask for the Klappt Meisterservce on this.

• These parts of products are equipped with highly integrated components. Electronic components are

very sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Please do not touch any metal contacts and therefore

particularly no sockets.

• For safety and certification (CE) the unauthorized conversion and / or modification of the circuit of the

device is prohibited.

• When using products that come into contact with electrical voltage, the VDE regulations must be

observed, in particular VDE 0100, VDE 0550/0551, VDE 0700, VDE 0711 and VDE 0860.

• Check with a qualified electrician if you are in doubt about the operation, security, or the installation of

the product.

• The product may be operated only if it was previously installed shock proofed. During installation, the

installation area must be de-energized. All wiring must be performed with the power off.

• Direct contact between the board and plug contacts with water must be avoided.

• Do not use the product in rooms or under adverse environmental conditions, where flammable gases,

vapors or dusts are present or may be present

• Check the product and its lines for damage (s) before each use. If you assume that safe operation is no

longer possible, the product must be taken out of service and secured against accidential operation. It

must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:

- The device is visibly damaged

- The device does not work

- After long storage under unfavorable conditions

- Stress caused by transport

• Do not turn the product on immediately when this was taken from a cold to a warm room. The

condensation water may damage your product. Let the product off to warm to room temperature.

• Do not leave the packaging material lying around, this could be a dangerous toy for children.• In schools,

training centers, clubs and self-help workshops, handling of technical equipment must be supervised by

trained staff.
