Intended Use

• The article is suitable for displaying and measuring the time. It

is not a toy!

• The article is designed for personal and domestic use only and

is not intended for commercial applications. The article should

only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use

is deemed to be improper.

• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused

by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-

pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

■ WARNING – Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging

material away from children and animals.

■ WARNING – Danger of acid burns from battery acid!

Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the

article out of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is

swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

■ CAUTION – Danger of acid burns from battery acid! If a

battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous

membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you

touch battery acid, rinse the affected area with abundant fresh

water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

■ Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts in the

article and on the battery are clean, and clean them if necessary.

■ Use only the battery type speciﬁ ed in the “Technical Data”.

■ Take the battery out of the article when they is dead or if the

article is not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will

prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

■ Remove a dead battery immediately and clean the contacts be-

fore you insert a new battery.

■ Use suitable fastening material to hang up the article. If you are

unsure which fastening material is suitable for your wall, seek

advice from a specialist stockist.

■ Install the article at a safe place on a dry surface, a sufﬁ cient

distance away from heat sources, for example ovens and heat-

ing systems.

■ Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind

the intended drilling point.

■ Protect the article from: impacts, heat, direct sunlight, sub-zero

temperatures, moisture and wet conditions.

■ Dust off the article with a soft, dry cloth to clean it. More intense

soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

You also require 1 battery (1.5 V, type AA). They is not

supplied with the article.

Inserting / Changing Batteries

Remove the used battery from the battery compartment on the

backside of the clock and insert a new 1.5 V battery, type AA. En-

sure the correct polarity (+ / –).

If the performance of the article diminishes, the battery should be

replaced.

Use

1. Attach – Attach the article at a suitable height on a wall using

suitable fastening materials.

It is essential to follow the safety instructions for assembly

(see “Safety instructions” ).

2. Set clock time – The clockwork starts running immediately.

Turn the small adjustment wheel next to the battery compart-

ment to adjust the clock time.

3. Notes for Timer Function

• If you want to adjust the timer to 10 minutes or less, once

turn the adjustment disc a quarter turn to the right (clock-

wise) to activate the timer function. Then, turn the adjust-

ment disc back to the preferred time value.

• If you want to adjust the timer to more than 10 minutes, turn

the adjustment disc directly to the preferred time value.

• If the adjusted time is over, you hear a ringing sound.

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly manner

at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic

devices.

Batteries should be removed before the article is disposed

of and should be disposed of separately from the article. To

protect the environment, batteries must not be disposed of

with normal household waste, but must be taken to suitable

collection points.
