Installing the indoor unit

Install the Indoor Unit

NOTE:

If the electrical wire is not long enough, please contact the authorized service centre to buy an

exclusive electric wire of the correct length. The wire are not allowed

• The electric wiring must be correctly connected. Incorrect connection may cause a

malfunction.

• Tighten the terminal screw in order to prevent loose wirring.

• After tighten the screw, gently pull the wire to confirm that it is firmly attached.

• If the grounding wire is incorrectly connected, it may cause electric shock.

• The cover plate must be attached and the connection wire tightened. Poor installation will allow dust,

moisture or other outside materials into the unit, which may lead to fire or electric shock.

• A circuit-breaker and air switch of correct capacity must be installed.

• The piping can exit from right, right rear,

left, left rear.

1. When routing the piping and wiring from the

left or right side of indoor unit, cut off the

tailings from the chassis as necessary (show in

Fig.2)

(1).Cut off the tailings 1 when routing the wiring

only;

(2).Cut off the tailings 1 and tailings 2 when

routing both the wiring and piping.(or 1,2,3);

2.Take out the piping from the body case, wrap the

piping’s electric wire and water pipe with tape and

put them th- rough the piping hole. (As show in Fig. 3)

3.Hang the mounting slots of the indoor unit on the

upper tabs of the rear panel and check that it is

firm enough. (As show in Fig.4)

1.Align the centre of the piping flare with the relevant valve.

2.Screw in the flare nut by hand and then tighten the nut

with a spanner and torque wrench. Refer to the following.

NOTE: First attach the connection pipe to

the indoor unit, then to outdoor unit. Do

not allow the pipe to bend and, do not

damage the connection pipe. Do not over-

tighten the joint nut or it may cause leak-

age.

Installer l’appareil interne

REMARQUE :

Lorsque le fil électrique est trop court, communiquez avec un centre de service autorisé pour acheter

un fil d’une longueur adéquate. Le fil ne doit pas comporter de joint.

• Le fil électrique doit être raccordé de manière adéquate. Sinon, l’appareil pourrait ne pas fonctionner

correctement.

• Serrez les vis du terminal pour éviter que le fil se détache.

• Lorsque les vis sont serrées, tirez doucement sur le fil pour vous assurer qu’il est bien fixé.

• Assurez-vous que le fil de mise à la terre est bien raccordé. Sinon, il pourrait entraîner une décharge

électrique.

• Le panneau de revêtement doit être fixé et les fils de raccordement doivent être serrés. Lorsque

l’appareil est mal installé, de la poussière, de l’humidité et d’autres objets peuvent pénétrer dans

l’appareil, ce qui peut entraîner un incendie ou une décharge électrique.

• Un disjoncteur et un commutateur de débit d’air de capacité appropriée doivent être installés.

• Les tuyaux peuvent sortir vers la droite, la droite

à l’arrière, la gauche ou la gauche à l’arrière.

1. Lorsque vous insérez les tuyaux et les fils dans

l’appareil interne, coupez l’excédent à partir du

châssis, au besoin (comme l’indique la figure 2).

(1). Coupez l’excédent 1 si vous insérez unique-

ment le fil;

(2). Coupez les excédents 1 et 2 si vous insérez

les fils et les tuyaux (ou 1, 2 et 3).

2. Retirez les tuyaux du boîtier, recouvrez le fil

électrique ainsi que le tuyau pour l’eau et

insérez-les dans le trou pour les tuyaux (comme

l’indique la figure 3).

3. Accrochez les dispositifs de fixation de l’appareil

interne au panneau arrière et assurez-vous qu’ils

sont solides (comme l’indique la figure 4).

1. Alignez l’embout évasé des tuyaux aux soupapes

appropriées.

2. Vissez l’écrou évasé à la main et serrez-le à l’aide d’une clé

pour contre-écrou et d’une clé dynamométrique en

consultant le tableau suivant :

REMARQUE : Fixez d’abord le tuyau de raccorde-

ment à l’appareil interne, puis à l’appareil externe.

Assurez-vous que les tuyaux ne sont pas pliés.

N’endommagez pas le tuyau de raccordement. Ne

serrez pas trop les écrous, car cela pourrait

entraîner des fuites.
