Deleting the content of the disc (DVD+RW)
1 Put a DVD+R or DVD+RW in the disc compartment.
– The index screen appears.
Note:
If the index screen does not appear, press »MENU«.
2 Select the disc information with »

– The disc menu appears.
3 Select »Erase disc« with »

confirm.
4 Select »Yes« with »

confirm.
– The disc is erased. You can no longer open the index screen.
Note:
To cancel the deletion, select »No« with »

Blocking/unblocking a disc
This protects the disc from being accidentally recorded over.
1 Put a DVD+R or DVD+RW in the disc compartment.
– The index screen appears.
Note:

to confirm.
– The disc menu appears.
3 Select the »Lock/unlock disc« menu item using »

– The disc is blocked and no recordings can be made on it.
Note:
Repeat this setting to unblock the disc.
