Finalising a disc (DVD+R only)
If you want to play a DVD+R on a DVD player, you must first finalise
it. The DVD/VCR recorder can play unfinalised discs.
Note that after a disc is finalised, no changes or any new record-
ings can be made on it.
1 Put a DVD+R in the disc compartment.
– The index screen appears.
2 Select the disc information with »

to confirm.
– The disc menu appears.
3 Select »Finalise disc« with »

« and press »ENTER«
to confirm.
4 Select »Yes« with »

« and press »ENTER« to
confirm.
– The title and chapter will now be displayed correctly during
playback or a DVD+R on a DVD player.
Note:
Depending on the length of the title, this can take some time.
Calling up disc information
1 Put a DVD+R or DVD+RW in the disc compartment.
– The index screen appears.
Note:
If the index screen does not appear, press »MENU«.
2 Select the disc information with »

– The disc menu appears.
3 Select »Information« using »

4 Press »SETUP« to close the info menu.
