Inserting the batteries.

1. Open the battery compartment by pressing on the cover and sliding this cover

down.

2. Insert the batteries, making sure you respect the + and – polarity. Close the

compartment by sliding the cover in the opposite direction.

NB: Use 2 AA-type batteries of 1.5 V. Never mix up new and old batteries or batteries of

different types.

If you do not use the remote control for a long time, remove the batteries.

Setting the clock of the remote control

1. Open the battery compartment.

2. Press CLK with the nib of a pen.

3. Press HOUR to set the hour (ex: AM 10: )

4. Press MIN to set the minutes (ex. 30)

5. Press CLK again and close the cover of the battery

compartment.

COOLING OPERATION

 Make sure the water tank is properly positioned in the unit.

 Select the COOL mode, the display will show "COOL". During the cooling operation,

always place the exhaust hose through an open window or other hole intended for

this effect.

 Set the desired temperature between 17°C and 31°C.

 Select the desired fan speed.

 Adjust the direction of the airflow.

Note: In order to improve the cooling efficiency:

 Make sure not to obstruct the air in- and outlet.

 Do not place the appliance near hot surfaces.

 If the room is directly exposed to sunshine, draw the curtains.

DEHUMIDIFYING OPERATION

 Keep windows and doors closed.

 Make sure the water tank is properly positioned in the unit.

 Select the DRY mode. The display will show "DRY"

 The fan speed cannot be adjusted.

 When used as dehumidifier only, do not use the air exhaust hose.
