2. To deactivate the timer function, press the TIMER button again until the timer symbol disap-

pears from the display.

Sleep Function

The sleep function enables you to set a countdown timer after which the unit will turn itself into standby

mode automatically.

• While listening, repeatedly press the SLEEP button to select a desired countdown after which the

system will turn itself into standby mode automatically.

• You can select 90, 80, 70, ... 10 minutes.

• If you want to cancel the function, press and hold the SLEEP button until the “SLEEP” indicator-

will disappear from the display.

Equalizer Presets

While listening, repeatedly press the EQ button to change the equalizer preset as follows:

Mute Function

Press the MUTE button to turn off the volume. Press the MUTE button again to reactivate the sound.

Headphone Connector

You can connect 3.5 mm headphones to the headphone connector at the front of the unit. When head-

phones are connected the speakers are disabled. To enable the speakers again simply disconnect the

headphones.

X-Bass

Press the X-Bass button to enhance the bass.

Radio

1. Switch the unit on as described previously.

2. Set the system to radio mode by pressing the TUNER button.

3. Select a desired radio station by pressing the TUNING+ or TUNING- button repeatedly.

4. To automatically search for the next available radio station, press and hold for 2 seconds the

TUNING+ or TUNING- button.

5. Adjust the volume to a desired level using the VOLUME UP/DOWN button.

FM & FM Stereo Reception

• When a radio station is transmitting in stereo, you can set the FM MODE selector to “ST” for best

reception. “ST” will be shown in the display.

• If reception of a station is weak, set the FM MODE selector to “Mono” to receive a better recep-

tion.

Notes for better reception:

• FM: This unit has an FM wire antenna. For best reception, fully unwind it.

Radio Station Presets

This unit enables you to store up to 20 radio stations.

1. Tune to a radio station which you would like to store.

2. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button to enter the programming mode.

3. Press the REPEAT/M-UP button to select a desired preset place where you want to store the

current frequency.

4. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button to conrm your setting.

5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to store more frequencies.
