Note:
For the universal connector, waterproof performance is guaranteed by connecting an
optional KENWOOD speaker/ microphone or by securing the supplied cap.
For the speaker/ microphone jack, waterproof performance is guaranteed by securing the
supplied cap. Waterproof performance will not be guaranteed by connecting an optional
speaker/ microphone, etc.
INSTALLING/ REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
1Match the guides of the battery pack with the grooves on the upper rear of the
transceiver, then rmly press the battery pack in place.
2Lock the safety catch to prevent accidentally releasing the battery pack.
(NX-5000/ NX-3000 series)
3To remove the battery pack, lift the safety catch, press the release latch, then
pull the battery pack away from the transceiver.

SWITCHING POWER ON/OFF
Turn the Power switch/ Volume control clockwise to switch the transceiver ON.
Turn the Power switch/ Volume control counterclockwise fully to switch the
transceiver OFF.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Rotate the Power switch/ Volume control to adjust the volume. Clockwise
increases the volume and counterclockwise decreases it.
SELECTING A ZONE AND CHANNEL
Select the desired zone using the 4-way D-pad or the buttons programmed as
[Zone Up]/ [Zone Down]. Each zone contains a group of channels.
Select the desired channel using the Selector or the buttons programmed as
[Channel Up]/ [Channel Down]. Each channel is programmed with settings for
transmitting and receiving.
TRANSMITTING
1 Select the desired zone and channel.
2 Press the PTT switch and speak into the microphone. Release the PTT switch to
receive.
For best sound quality, hold the transceiver approximately 3 ~ 4 cm (1.5
inches) from your mouth.
RECEIVING
Select the desired zone and channel. If signaling has been programmed on the
selected channel, you will hear a call only if the received signal matches your
transceiver settings.

POSE/ DÉPOSE DU BLOC PILES
1Faites correspondre les guides du bloc-piles avec les rainures correspondantes
sur le haut à l’arrière de l’émetteur récepteur, puis appuyez fermement sur le
bloc-piles pour le mettre en place.
2Verrouillez le cran de sécurité pour éviter d’appuyer accidentellement sur le loquet
de blocage et de retirer le bloc-piles. (Série NX-5000/ NX-3000)
3Pour retirer le bloc-piles, soulevez le cran de sécurité, appuyez sur le loquet de
blocage puis retirezle hors de l’émetteur-récepteur.

MISE SOUS/ HORS TENSION
Tournez le commutateur d’alimentation/ commande de volume dans le sens
horaire pour mettre l’émetteur-récepteur sous
Tournez le commutateur d’alimentation/ commande de volume dans le sens
anti-horaire pour mettre l’émetteur-récepteur hors tension.
RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME
Tournez le commutateur d’alimentation/ commande de volume pour régler le volume.
SÉLECTION D’UNE ZONE ET D’UN CANAL
Sélectionnez la zone souhaitée à l’aide de 4-voies D-pad ou des boutons
programmées en tant que [Zone haut]/ [Zone bas]. Chaque zone contient un
groupe de canaux.
Sélectionnez le canal souhaité à l’aide de Sélecteur ou des boutons programmés
en tant que [Canal haut]/ [Canal bas]. Chaque canal est programmé avec des
réglages de transmission et de réception.
TRANSMISSION
1 Sélectionnez la zone et le canal.
2 Appuyez sur le commutateur PTT et parlez dans le microphone. Relâchez le
commutateur PTT pour recevoir.
Pour une meilleure qualité du son, tenez l‘émetteur-récepteur à environ 3 ~ 4
cm de votre bouche.
RÉCEPTION
Sélectionnez la zone et le canal voulus. Si la signalisation a été programmé sur le
canal sélectionné, vous entendrez un appel uniquement si le signal reçu correspond
aux réglages de votre émetteur-récepteur.

Desembale el transceptor con cuidado. Le recomendamos que logre identi car

Nota:

INSTALACIÓN/ EXTRACCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
1Alinee las guías de la batería con las ranuras correspondientes de la parte
posterior superior del transceptor y luego apriete la batería fuertemente hasta
que quede bloqueada en su sitio.

Coloque el cierre de seguridad en posición para evitar presionar accidentalmente
el pestillo de liberación y se salga la batería. (Serie NX-5000/ NX-3000)
3Para extraer la batería, suba el cierre de seguridad, presione la pestillo de
liberación y luego separe la batería del transceptor.

ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
Gire el interruptor de encendido/ control de volumen hacia la derecha para
encender el transceptor.
Gire el interruptor de encendido/ control de volumen hacia la izquierda para
apagar el transceptor.
AJUSTE DEL VOLUMEN
Gire el interruptor de encendido/ control de volumen para ajustar el volumen.
SELECCIÓN DE UNA ZONA Y CANAL
Seleccione la zona deseada mediante el D-pad de 4 vías o los botones programados
como [Zona arriba]/ [Zona abajo]. Cada zona contiene un grupo de canales.
Seleccione el canal deseado mediante el Selector o los botones programados
como [Subir canal]/ [Bajar canal]. Cada canal está programado con ajustes de
transmisión y recepción.
TRANSMISIÓN
1 Seleccione la zona deseada mediante.
2 Presione el conmutador PTT y hable al micrófono. Suelte el conmutador PTT
para recibir.
Para obtener una calidad de sonido optima, sujete el transceptor a 3 ó 4 cm
de la boca.
RECEPCIÓN
Seleccione la zona y el canal deseados. Si se ha programado la función de
señalización en el canal seleccionado, sólo oirá las llamadas en las que la señal
recibida coincida con la con guración del transceptor.

INSTALLAZIONE/ RIMOZIONE DEL PACCO BATTERIA
1Far coincidere le guide del pacco batteria con le scanalature corrispondenti
presenti nella parte posteriore superiore del ricetrasmettitore, quindi premere
con decisione il pacco batteria per bloccarlo in posizione.
2Bloccare il fermo di sicurezza per evitare che il pacco batteria si sganci
accidentalmente. (Serie NX-5000/ NX-3000)
3Per rimuovere il pacco batteria, sollevare il fermo di sicurezza, premere sul fermo
di sgancio e in ne estrarre il pacco batteria dal ricetrasmettitore.

Ruotare l’interruttore di accensione/ regolatore di volume in senso orario per
accendere il ricetrasmettitore.

per spegnere il ricetrasmettitore.
REGOLAZIONE DEL VOLUME
Ruotare l’interruttore di accensione/ regolatore di volume per eseguire la
regolazione.
