Check the device to detect signs of wear and

tear or damage. If the device shows signs like

this or if it has been used in a non-compliant

manner, it must be sent back to the manufac-

turer or returned to the reseller before being

used again.

Switch the device o immediately if it is faulty

or if it displays malfunctions.

Do not under any circumstances try to open

and/or repair the device yourself! Repairs must

be carried out only by the after-sales service

or approved resellers. Failure to follow these

instructions may void the warranty.

The manufacturer cannot be held responsi-

ble for damage caused by inappropriate or

improper use.



Notes on batteries

If the liquid of the battery cell comes into

contact with the skin or eyes, rinse the area

aected with water and consult a doctor.



Ingestion hazard !

Young children might swallow

the batteries and suocate.

So keep the batteries out of

the reach of children !

Check the plus (+) et minus (-) polarity symbols.

If a battery has leaked, put on protective

gloves and clean the battery compartment

with a dry cloth.

Protect the batteries from excessive heat.



Explosion hazard !

Do not throw batteries onto the re.

Do not attempt to re-charge or short-circuit

the batteries.

Remove the batteries from the battery com-

partment if the device is not to be used for a

lengthy period.

Use only identical or equivalent batteries.

Always replace all the batteries at the same time.

Do not use the accumulator!

Do not dismantle, open or break the batteries.

Thank you for choosing the Medi Stim elec-

trostimulation system by LANAFORM. The

Medi Stim oers  basic functions :

1 Stimulation of the nerve tracts (TENS)

2 Electrical stimulation of

muscle tissue (EMS)

Fitted with two independent stimulation

channels and  adhesive electrodes, the de-

vice has various versatile features, the aim of

which is to improve general well-being, relieve

pain, maintain physical tness, relax, revitalise

muscles and combat fatigue. These features

may be selected either by pre-set programmes

adapted to your needs.

What is electro-stimulation ?

The operating principle of electro-stimulation

devices is based on the imitation of the body’s

pulses transmitted by the skin to the nerve

bres and muscles via electrodes. These are

placed in various locations on the body for a

complete workout. Their electrical stimuli are

safe and painless. The eects of electro-stimu-

lation can be seen after just a few uses, supple-

menting regular work on the muscles.
