surface well away from water, fl ames and sourc-
es of heat. Unplug from the electricity mains if
plugged in. When on, never cover the machine
with tea towels or similar.

Using a water fi lter (optional accessory) improves
the quality of the water and increases the life of
the machine. Use the AquaAroma Crema Brita®
fi lter for Lavazza. To insert the fi lter follow the
instructions booklet that comes with the acces-
sory. It is advisable not to modify the fi lter default
setting.
The water must never go above the MAX
indicator line and should always remain above
the MIN marking. Only use fresh drinkable, non-
sparkling water. Warm water and other liquids
may damage the tank. Do not attempt to use the
machine if there is no water in the tank. Check that
the water level is above the MIN level indicated.

Fill the water tank up to the MAX level indicated
using only fresh non-sparkling drinkable water.

The tank may only be fi lled via the side opening.

Plug the power cord into the electricity mains
and turn on/off switch to the ON position.

Wait until the power light remains lit and the ma-
chine emits an acoustic sound.

To remove the
tank lift it and
turn slightly.
Rinse with
clean water &
replace.
