8 Decommissioning

8.1 Switching off the appliance

uPress the On/Off button Fig. 3 (1) until the display goes

dark. Release button.

wIf the appliance cannot be switched off, the child lock

function is active (see 5.2 Child proofing) .

8.2 Taking the appliance out of service

uEmpty the appliance.

uSwitch off the appliance (see8Decommissioning) .

uRemove mains connector.

uClean the appliance (see6.2 Cleaning the appli‐

ance) .

uLeave the door open to prevent odour.

9 Disposal

9.1 Preparing appliance for disposal

Liebherr uses batteries in some of its appli‐

ances. In the EU, for environmental reasons,

legislation obliges the end user to remove

these batteries before disposing of old appli‐

ances. If your appliance contains batteries, a

corresponding notice is attached.

Lamps If you can remove the lamps yourself without

destroying them, also remove these before

disposal.
