Attaching the handle to the glass lid (only included with the Deluxe

set) - Fig. 2:

Attach the handle to the glass lid using a screwdriver. Make sure that you do

not use too much force, otherwise you may damage the glass lid. If the handle

loosens over time, re-tighten the screw using a screwdriver.

Deep-frying basket insert (only included with the Deluxe set) - Fig. 3:

The handle of the frying basket insert can be removed by gently squeezing it

out of the holding device and unclamping from the lower bracket.

WORKING WITH THE LIVINGTON BLACK DOUBLETTA

Your Livington Black Doubletta is suitable for all stove types.

Frying and cooking: Your Livington Black Doubletta has 2 diﬀerent pan

surfaces. A grill surface (grill pan) with grill strips for searing meat or

ﬁsh, and a cooking and a smooth pan surface (roasting pan) for roasting

vegetables, eggs etc.

1. Slightly warm up the Livington Black Doubletta cooking module and add

fat (according to taste). The cooking system is also ideal for „fat-free“

cooking and frying.

2. Select the required cooking temperature. Once the fat is evenly spread, an

optimal cooking temperature (approx. 180°C) has been reached.

3. Introduce the food to be fried or cooked to the respective side, and reduce

the temperature.

4. Initially, the grilled/fried food (e.g. meat) will stick, and will then loosen

itself after a few seconds; only after this can you stir the food in the

Doubletta cooking system and ﬁnish cooking on a low setting.

Tips:

• For even better cooking results, add a few drops of cooking oil to the

Doubletta cooking module once slightly heated, and rub in the oil with a

paper towel.

• When preparing your food, use the „covered cooking process“ as often as

possible, i.e. close the cooking module! This will save time and energy!

Fry: Use the included frying basket insert to fry your food. Use suﬃcient fat

as required (this depends on the food).

Care & cleaning tips

• Always allow the cooking module to cool down completely before cleaning.

• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning cloths or steel wool for

cleaning. These may damage the coating.

• Prevent food residues from drying on! This makes cleaning easier!

• If any cooking residue becomes encrusted: soak in hot water for a period

of time, and clean using a gentle detergent.

• Dry the cooking module immediately, so that no limescale develops.

• To ensure the longevity of the coating, we recommend that you use kitchen

aids made of wood or plastic.

• All parts of your Livington Black Doubletta are also dishwasher safe.

Note: We advise that you remove the sealing ring during cleaning, as fat and

food residues can accumulate beneath it. After cleaning, we recommend that

you ﬁrst pull the sealing ring over the entire pan, in order to tension it. Then

gradually pull it over the edge of the pan until it sits ﬁrmly and securely all

around.

• Il est uniquement prévu pour la préparation

d‘aliments. Ne pas utiliser l‘appareil à des ﬁns pour

lesquelles il n‘est pas conçu.

• Avant l‘utilisation, vériﬁer l‘absence de dommages

extérieurs visibles sur le système de cuisson. Ne

pas utiliser une poêle abîmée.

• Ce système de cuisson peut être utilisé par

des enfants dès 8 ans et plus ainsi que par

des personnes ayant des capacités physiques,

sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou manquant

d‘expérience et de connaissances s‘ils sont

supervisés ou ont été instruits quant à l‘utilisation

sûre de la poêle et ont compris les dangers qui

en découlent. Les enfants ne sont pas autorisés

à jouer avec le système de cuisson. Le nettoyage

et la maintenance utilisateur ne doivent pas être

eﬀectués par des enfants sans surveillance.

• Pendant l‘utilisation, ne pas laisser le système de

cuisson sans surveillance.

• Avant la première utilisation, nettoyer les deux

modules de cuisson avec un détergent doux et de

l‘eau tiède.

• Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes à mains nues.

• Le Livington Black Doubletta produit de la chaleur -

des éclaboussures peuvent être projetées pendant

l‘utilisation. Utiliser le couvercle en verre associé

ou prendre les précautions nécessaires pour

exclure tout risque de brûlures, d‘incendie et autres

blessures ou dommages matériels.

• Le couvercle peut devenir brûlant et de l‘air chaud

peut s‘échapper de la soupape à vapeur – il existe

un risque de blessures. Si les modules de cuisson

ne sont pas placés correctement sur la zone de

cuisson, le manche peut devenir brûlant - risque de

blessures.

• Si de l‘huile ou de la graisse chaude venait à

s‘enﬂammer, mettre la cuisinière hors service
