2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (EUROPE ONLY)

Mad Catz warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period. This non-transferable, 2-year limited warranty is only to you, the ﬁrst end-user purchaser. If a

defect covered by this warranty occurs AND you have registered your product with Mad Catz AND you provide proof of purchase, Mad Catz, at its option, will repair or replace the product at no charge.

The Mad Catz 2-year limited warranty is available to European customers. Your sole and exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of your Mad Catz product. In no event shall Mad Catz liability exceed the origi-

nal purchase price of the product. This warranty does not apply to: (a) normal wear and tear or abusive use; (b) industrial, professional or commercial use; (c) if the product has been tampered with or modied.

To receive warranty service, you must:

Obtain a Return Authorization Number from Mad Catz Technical Support via ONE of the following methods:

Once you have your unique Return Authorization Number, do the following:

1. Ship the product to Mad Catz at your expense for service.

2. Enclose a copy of the original sales receipt showing a purchase date.

3. Enclose a full return address with daytime and evening phone numbers.

If you are a resident of Australia or New Zealand, certain exclusions from this warranty apply, including exclusions of terms, conditions, warranties and terms set forth herein or implied by statute, general

law or custom of trade or usage, except for any “Non-excludable Condition” as that term is dened below and construed under the Australian Trade Practices Act 1974 (“TPA”) or, in the case of consumers

in New Zealand, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“CGA”). Except for liability required by law or regulation in connection with any Non-excludable Condition, our liability to you for any act

or omission, whether arising in contract or tort, including negligence, or otherwise in connection with the controller or our agreement is hereby disclaimed and excluded. For these purposes, “Non-exclud-

able Condition” means any implied warranty, condition or guarantee the exclusion of which would contravene, in the case of Australian consumers, the TPA or, in the case of consumers in New Zealand,

the CGA or in either case, that would cause all or any part of any exclusion or limitation of liability or remedy to be void. For any breach of a Non-excludable Condition (other than one implied by Section 69

of the TPA in Australia), your remedies are limited and, at our option, our liability is limited to either resupplying, replacing or repairing the controller or, at our option, paying the cost of doing any of these.

You may have certain rights as a consumer with respect to the merchant or retail establishment where you purchased this controller. The exclusions, restrictions, terms and conditions set forth herein do

not affect or change the rights you may have under the laws that apply to your transaction(s) with such merchants or retail establishments.

DISCLAIMER OF OTHER WARRANTIES/REMEDIES:

If the game or any part thereof are damaged through modiﬁcation, abuse, improper use, mistreatment, neglect or accident, any applicable warranty is rendered null and void and you will need to follow the

instructions that apply for returns after the warranty period.

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE AND/OR TO THE EXTENT ANY PARTICULAR WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS MAY NOT BE DISCLAIMED OR LIMITED DUE TO THE LAWS

MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO OTHER REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY NATURE OR KIND SHALL APPLY OR SHALL BE BINDING UPON OR OBLIGATE

MAD CATZ OR ITS LICENSORS.

WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN ARE OFFERED ONLY BY MAD CATZ, AND NOT HARMONIX MUSIC SYSTEMS, INC. OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES AND LICENSORS/LICENSEES.

If any warranties herein are incapable of being disclaimed because of the particular laws that apply to you, then such warranties applicable to this game are limited to the warranty period described above

that applies to you. In no event will Mad Catz, Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. or their respective afﬁliates and licensors/licensees be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages

resulting from possession, use or malfunction of the game, including, without limitation, any controller, software or other part of the game, including damage to property, and to the extent permitted by law,

damages for personal injury, even if foreseeable or if Mad Catz, Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. or their respective afﬁliates and licensors/licensees have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Color-coded plugs for cymbal cables

on back of Rock Band 4 drum kits

General Setup

1. Interlock interior clamp around ridge support on drum leg assembly (Fig. 2).

2. Tighten thumb screws to secure to leg clamp of drum kit.

3. Quick-release clips snap securely into place.

4. Insert metal poles and adjust height (Fig. 1).

5. Tighten thumb screws of metal poles (Fig. 2).

6. Add cymbal to pole based on cymbal conﬁguration.

7. Screw on appropriate color wing nut (do not tighten completely if you want cymbal to tilt forward).

8. Loosen thumb screws that hold metal pole and rotate pole so that the cymbal is oriented to your style of play.

9. Retighten thumb screw that holds metal pole.

9A. (Optional) Loosen thumb screws around drum kit legs to rotate and adjust position of metal poles to

drum heads and retighten screws.

10. Connect cymbal cables to drum kit. Match cymbal color to cable jack.

TIP: Wrap cymbal cables around metal poles for cable management.

Color-coded wing nuts let you designate cymbals to preferred style of gameplay.
