OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. POWER ON/OFF
Press the button to turn the power “ON” or “OFF”.
2. BAND SELECTOR / PAUSE
a) Each time this button is pressed, the radio band is changed.
b) Press this button to pause during playback.
3. AUTO-STORE/PRE-SCAN BUTTON / REPEAT
a) Press this button more than 2 seconds, it searches all station frequencies upward and memorize
automatically to the 6 preset stations by catching the frequency. Press this button shortly, it re-calls the
memorized station frequencies (1-6) automatically every 5 seconds.
b) Press this button to repeat the song during playback.
4. LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY
5. DISPLAY BUTTON
This button serves to show available information as following: Station Name / Band & Frequency /
Programme Type Name / SEEK LOC or DX / Clock / Track No. & Playing Time
6. MUTE
Press this button to mute volume control and “MUT” will flash on the display.
7. PANEL RELEASE
This button is used to release the panel from the unit.
8. MODE SELECTION
Press this button to select Radio (TUNER), USB (USB), SD (SD CARD) or Auxiliary Input (AUX) mode.
9. RDS (RADIO DATA SYSTEM) / STEREO/MONO
a) By pressing shortly, you can enjoy RDS advantages on FM radio as following.
l Program Service Name (PS) : When an RDS station is received, station's name will appear on the display.
l Traffic Program (TP) : When station with traffic program is received, “TP” will appear on the display.
l Alternative Frequencies (AF) : The unit continuously checking the signal strength of alternative
frequencies for the tuned radio station. Every time that new alternative frequency is stronger than current
station, it automatically switch over to the new frequency and new frequency will be displayed for 1-2
second. Press this button shortly, the state of AF switching mode will appear on the display as follows:
1) RDS is on : AF is on and RDS signal is received. 2) RDS is off : AF is off. 3) RDS is flashing : AF is
searching but RDS signal is not received.
b) By pressing longer than 1 second, you can select FM STEREO or FM MONO reception.
11. LOCAL/DISTANT
By pressing this button, you can select “SEEK LOC” to prevent strong local stations from overlapping
weaker stations or “SEEK DX” for distance in normal operation.
10. TA (TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT) / LOUD
a) Press this button shortly to select TA mode. When TA mode is on, it is able to receive traffic
announcements or stations with Traffic Program (TP). It works as follows: 1) If the volume is low, it will be
raised temporarily and will back to original volume level after traffic announcement. 2) If the radio is mute,
it will be de-muted during traffic announcement.
b) By pressing longer than 1 second, you can activate the loudness circuitry which compensates for loss
of high and low frequencies during low volume levels.
12. VOLUME/SELECTION (“VOL/SEL”)
a)Rotate this button clockwise to increase volume level and vice versa.
b)Press this button shortly to show Volume/Bass/Treble/Balance/Fader control. Then, rotate clockwise to
increase setting level and vice versa.
c)By pressing longer than 1 second, it activates the selection mode in cyclical position by clockwise for
increase and vice versa.
l EQ-OFF / FLAT / POP / ROCK / CLASS
l CLOCK (rotate “VOL/SEL” button clockwise to set MINUTE and anti-clockwise to set HOUR.)
13/14. SEEK & MANUAL UP/DOWN TUNING / TRACK SEEK UP/DOWN CONTROL
On radio mode, pressing this button more than 1 second, it will tune one frequency step higher or lower.
On USB/SD mode, pressing this button shortly will move to the one track higher or lower. Pressing more
than 1 second, it will move fast forward or backward to a specific position.
15. STATION PRESET BUTTON (1-6)
a)Each station preset can be store in F1, F2, F3 or MW (18FM/6MW). Press the button shortly recalls the
station frequency which was memorized. b)It can be memorized the frequency stations manually on specific
preset stations by holding the desired specific preset station in 2 seconds. c) Press the preset 1 to locate the
first track. d) Press the preset 2 to scan the first 10 seconds of all the tracks during USB/SD mode. e) Press the
preset 5/6 to search -10/+10 track during USB/SD mode.
16. RESET
The reset button is located on the front of main panel. This reset circuitry is provided to protect the unit's
microprocessor. Whenever the reset button is activated, all preset memories content will be erased. It
should only be activated under the below conditions: a) Initial installation after all wiring is completed.
b) Abnormal operation.
17. AUXILIARY INPUT
Press MODE button (8) until the “AUX” mode is shown on display. The unit is ready to play files from the
external audio device through the auxiliary input directly on the front panel.
18. SD CARD SLOT
Press MODE button (8) until the “SD CARD” mode is shown on display. The unit is ready to play files from
the SD card.
19. USB HOST
Press MODE button (8) until the “USB” mode is shown on display. The unit is ready to play files from the
USB device.

1. Remove Front Control Panel and Frame.
2. Slightly insert the key into the slot and gently to
release.
3. Separate the mounting case from the unit. Keep
removal keys in a safe place as you may need
for future removal of unit.
