Before Initial Use
The battery in the remote control is already inserted. Only
the transport securing device needs to be removed.
1. Insert batteries into the candles (see “Inserting / Changing
Batteries” – “Candles”).
2. Attach the candles with the clips to the branches of the Christ-
mas tree as you wish.
Inserting / Changing Batteries
You need 1 x 1.5 V battery of the AAA type for each candle.
They are not included in the product contents.
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts on the
article and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if necessary.
Candles
1. Twist the battery compartment cover (clip) anticlockwise and
remove it from the candle.
2. Remove the used battery if necessary and insert a new battery
(1.5 V, AAA type) with the positive pole rst into the candle
(see also the imprint on the candles).
3. Place the battery compartment cover back on the candle and
twist it clockwise as far as it will go to secure it in place.
Remote control
1. The battery compartment is located
on the narrow side of the remote
control. Remove it as shown.
2. Remove the empty battery and
insert a new battery (3 V, type
CR2025). The positive terminal
must point upwards.
3. Slide the battery compartment all the way back into the remote
control. It must audibly and noticeably lock into place.
Operation
• The ON button is used to switch on the candles.
• The OFF button is used to switch off the candles.
If more candles or sets of candles are bought, all candles
can be controlled using just one remote control.
Troubleshooting
Should the article stop working properly at any time, exhibit signs
of damage or require a spare part, contact the customer service
department. For your own safety, do not carry out any repairs
yourself.
If (individual) candles do not respond to the remote control,
check the following:
Are batteries inserted into the candles and the remote
control?
Are the batteries too weak or incorrectly inserted?
Are the candles within the range of the remote
control? / Is there ‘visual contact’ between the candles
and the remote control?
To ensure perfect operation, it is important that there
is ‘visual contact’ between all candles and the remote
control.
If there is no ‘visual contact, rearrange the candles
if necessary and / or choose another location from
which the candles can be controlled using the remote
control. Important! The range of the remote control is
around 4 – 5 m.

ing Batteries”).

reused and / or stored away.
