INSTALLING THE TV

WALL MOUNTING

•

On a wall, using a VESA-standard wall mount (not included)

• If you want to use the wireless keyboard you will have

to place the Bluetooth receiver into USB port 1 or USB

port 2 of the TV.

• For optimal use of your Smart TV we recommend to use

a 32GB SD card, please note that this card isn’t included.

• There are two ways to connect your Smart TV to inter-

net, you can use an Ethernet cable orWi-Fi to connect

to your home network. We recommend you to use

DHCP to let the TV obtain an IP address.

Installing the TV by using digital cable T

When you choose to receive digitalTV by cable then the

time installation” please make sure the CI+ module isn’t placed

your provider this can be checked by the logo on the module.

If you use ZIGGO please use the following settings:

• Country: Netherlands

• TuneType: DTV

• Digital Type: DVB-C

• ScanType: Quick

• Network ID: 1111 to 9999

• Frequency: 164000 to 999000

• Symbol rate: 6875

If you use UPC please use the following settings:

• Country: Netherlands

• TuneType: DTV

• Digital Type: DVB-C

• ScanType: Quick

• Network ID: Noord Brabant=43144, Noord Holland=43136,

Flevoland=43138, Friesl

and=43140, Gelderland=43142, Zuid

Holland=43146

• Frequency: 164000

• Symbol rate: 6900

• After the automatic search the TV will come up with NED1 HD,

put theTV on stand-by and place the CI+ module including the

smartcard in the CI slot, if you turn on the TV again the TV will

try to validate the smartcard.

HDMI SCART

Connecting an external receiver.

• If you use an external receiver you can connect older

models to SCART and newer models to HDMI. For view-

ing HD channels and interactive TV connection through

HDMI is mandatory.

Connecting cableTV.

• If you use cable for your TV reception please make sure

the length of the cable between your cable entry point

and your TV is as short as possible, we recommend to

• When you are receiving your TV signal by antenna please

make sure to use an active digital antenna, it is easy to

recognize an active antenna by the extra 230VAC adapt-

er that is used to power the antenna. (The CI module

package contains an active digital antenna) Placing the

menu and select the option“Ethernet settings”and

tab on“Turn on Ethernet” leave the Ethernet menu

by pressing“ESC”. After approx. 30 seconds the TV will

obtain an IP-address from the DHCP server, as soon as

an Ethernet logo appears in the top right section of the

screen your TV will be connected to your DHCP server.

Fi you can go to the settings menu and select“Wi-Fi set-

tings” and tab on“Turn on Wi-Fi” leave the Wi-Fi menu

by pressing“ESC”. After approx. 30 seconds the TV will

obtain an IP-address from the DHCP server, as soon as

an Wi-Fi logo appears in the top right section of the

screen your TV will be connected to your DHCP server.

• Installation of applications is possible through the App

manager, with the App installer it is possible to install

saved Apps from USB stick or SD card.

• It is also possible to connect your personal account to

open the Market App. which will give you the possi

bility

to download or install applications directly.

• With PVR (PersonalVideo Recorder) and EPG (electronic

program guide) it is easy to record your favouriteTV

programs, the only things you need are an empty USB

stick and digital TV (DTV). Place an empty USB stick in the

bottom USB port of theTV and go to the settings menu

and format the USB stick, often formatting the USB stick

is not needed because the USB stick already has a read-

• Watching in DTV mode will enable the function EPG with

If you use an external receiver it is not necessary to

search for channels but we recommend that you do

the following settings:

• Country: Netherlands

• TuneType: ATV

• After the automatic search theTV will come up with NED1 (ATV).

Installing the TV by using a Digitenne CI module

package from KPN.

If you ch

oose to receive digital TV by Digitenne please make

sure that the CI module and smartcard are not placed dur-

ing the channel search. Select the following settings:

• Country: Netherlands

• TuneType: DTV

• Digital Type: DVB-T

After the automatic search theTV will come up with NED1

(DTV), put theTV on stand-by and place the CI module

including the smartcard in the CI slot, if you turn on the TV

again theTV will try to validate the smartcard.

After removing the TV from the box and inspecting the

package contents you can begin installing the TV. Your TV

can be installed in two ways:

To install the TV stand:

prevent scratches or damage to the screen, place the TV

on a soft surface, such as carpet, rug, or blanket. (Picture 1)

2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, attach the base to the TV

by inserting and tightening the included screws.(Picture 2)

3.Move the TV with attached stand into an upright position

4. To ensure proper ventilation, leave at least 1” of space

between the back of the TV and any other objects

(walls, etc). (Picture 4)

Installing a TV on a wall requires lifting. To prevent injury or

damage to the TV, ask someone to help you. Be sure the

mount you choose is capable of supporting the weight of

the TV. After you have determined that you have the correct

mount for your TV, you can begin the installation.

Be sure the surface is clear of debris that can scratch or

damage the TV.(Picture 6)

3. Remove the base stander by loosening and removing

the screws. (Picture 7)

4. Attach your TV and wall mount to the wall, carefully

following the instructions that came with your mount.

Use all mount bracket rated for the weight/load of this TV.

To install your TV on a wall:

1. Disconnect any cables connected to your TV.(Picture 5)
