1. Safety information (Please read carefully before assembling

the container!)

• Make sure that the appliance is switched off and

unplugged before assembly.

• Always pull the plug, not the power cable, when

unplugging the appliance from the wall socket.

• Place the appliance on a at and stable surface.

• This appliance may be used by children from the

age of 8 as well as by persons with reduced physi-

cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experi-

ence and knowledge, as long as they are being

supervised or have been given instructions for the

safe use of the appliance, hence understanding the

possible dangers. Children must not play with the

appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must

not be undertaken by children without supervision,

unless 8 or older and supervised. The appliance

and its mains connections must be kept away from

children under the age of 8.

• The manufacturer will not be liable for possible

damage to the appliance caused by incorrect,

improper use or unqualied repair works. In these

cases warranty claims become void.

• If a repair is necessary (including replacement of

the power cable), please rst contact the central

telephone support or the retailer where you bought

the appliance – upon consultation and in accord-

ance with item 9. of this manual send the appliance

to NIVONA Zentralkundendienst, Südwestpark 90,

D-90449 Nürnberg

2. Delivery contents (g. 1)

➔ Unpack the appliance and all items belonging to it with care.

The following are included in the package:

• User Manual

• Warranty card

• 1 bean container attachment

• 2 screws M4x12

• 2 lock rings

• 2 silicone protective caps

3. Getting started (g. 2)

➔ Place the appliance on a at and stable surface.

➔ Switch the appliance off and unplug.

➔ Open the lid of the bean container.

4. Preparing the bean container (g. 3 and 4)

Attention: Please make sure that the bean container is empty of

any foreign matters. They may damage the mill.

➔ Empty the bean container manually until the protective caps

at the inner rim of the container are fully exposed (see also

g. 3).

➔ Remove the right and left protective middle cap carefully with

a screw driver.
