Cleaning
- Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
Let the waffle maker cool down in open position.
- Never immerse the appliance in water. You may
wipe it clean with a damp cloth or sponge and
then dry it with a dry cloth.
- Do not remove any remaining burnt particles
with a hard (metal) object, as this would damage
the non-sticking coating.
Storage
The mains cord can be wound in the special cord
storage space.
The appliance can be stored in a vertical position.
Measures for these recipes:
1 dl =100 ml
1 tablespoon = 15 ml
1 teaspoon = 5 ml
1 spice measure = 1 ml
Crisp waffles (8 pcs.)
200 ml cold water
300 ml (200 g) wheat flour
300 ml cream (40% fat)
Mix flour and water. Stir well to a smooth batter.
Whip the cream until stiff and mix it into the batter.
Cook the waffles.
Simple crisp waffles (8 pcs.)
150 g butter or margarine
400 ml (250 g) wheat flour
2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder
1 spice measure of salt
300 ml cold water
200 ml milk
Melt the butter and let it cool down. Mix flour,
baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add
water and milk and beat to a smooth batter. Stir in
the melted butter. Cook the waffles.
Variation: Brown flour (containing more fibre) can
be used instead of white flour. Serve the waffles
with cottage cheese and fresh berries.

Non-rewireable mains plug (for U.K. only)
This appliance is supplied with an earthed non-
rewireable 13 Ampere fused plug. The plug must
never be used without the fuse cover being in
place.
If a replacement fuse cover is required it must be
of the same type or colour as the coloured insert
around the fuse cover.
Only fit a 13 Ampere BSI or ASTA BS 1362
approved replacement fuse.
Always refit the fuse cover after changing the
fuse.

Important safety information
If the supplied non-rewireable plug is not suitable
for the socket outlets in your home it can be
removed and an appropriate one fitted. (See
adjacent table.)
Warning: The non-rewireable plug must be cut
from the mains cord, the fuse removed, and the
plug safely dicarded to prevent further use. The
removed plug can be hazardous if inserted into a
live mains socket.
