14 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
14.1 Cleaning
▪ Regular maintenance and care is essential in preventing friction and corrosion
damage to the tool.
▪ To protect against dirt, the tool should be covered with foil after each use. Should the
tool still be dirty, follow the following cleaning instructions:
Thoroughly clean the tool after disconnecting and releasing it from the compressed air
supply.
Clean the tool only with dry soft cloth or with compressed air
Never use caustic and/or abrasive cleaning agents.
▪ Before storing the tool, lubricate the moving parts, especially the trigger, with a few
drops of special pneumatic oil.
14.2 Storage
Protect the tool from dust, dirt and the like. Cover the tool with foil to protect it from dirt and
resulting damage and malfunctioning.
14.3 Cleaning and servicing by qualified personnel
Maintenance work, not listed here, may only be carried out by an approved service centre.
