▪ To lower the blade height, grasp the height adjustment lever (6) and move it toward the
back of the mower.
▪ Reinstall key (2) and battery pack when you are ready to mow.
10.4 Retrofitting for mulching mower (Fig. 8)
WARNING: only with a stopped motor and standstill cutter.
▪ Raise the rear cover and remove the grass catch bag.
▪ Push the mulching wedge into the deck. Lock the mulching wedge with the button into the
opening on the deck.
▪ Lower the rear cover again.
10.4.1 What is mulching
▪ When mulching, the grass is cut in one working step, then finely chopped and returned to
the grass strip as natural fertilizer.
▪ Hints for mulch-mowing:
▪ Regular cut-back by max. 2 cm from 6 cm to 4 cm grass height.
▪ Use a sharp cutting knife
▪ Do not mow wet grass
▪ Set to max. motor speed
▪ Only move at working pace
▪ Regularly clean mulching wedge, housing inner side and mowing blade
11 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
11.1 Cleaning
▪ Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
▪ We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using
it.
▪ Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning
agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no
water can seep into the device.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
11.2 Blade maintenance
▪ Regularly remove grass and dirt from the blade.
▪ At the beginning of the gardening season, carefully examine the condition of the blade.
▪ If the blade is very blunt, sharpen or replace the blade.
▪ If the blade is damaged or worn, fit a new blade.
If the blade is slipping, put the screwdriver into the location hole, tighten the blade by wrench.
Warning! Observe the following precautions:
▪ Be careful not to cut yourself. Use heavy-duty gloves or a cloth to grip the blade.
▪ Only use the specified replacement blade.
▪ Do not remove the impeller for any reason.
