Connection

The heater is supplied with a plug. Never use the

appliance with a

damaged cable and/or plug, after the heater has not

been working properly, or if it has been damaged in

whatever way.

The replacement of a cable and/or socket plug may only

be done by a qualified professional who is familiar with

the applicable requirements.

Operation and functions

 Insert the plug in the plug socket and press the power

button to switch the appliance on.

 When you switch the appliance off again, the fan will

still run for 30 seconds so the heater cools.

 You can operate the appliance using the remote

control supplied (excl. battery) or the heather control

panel.

Power:

 When you switch the appliance on, 1000W mode is

activated by default.

 Press mode once: 2000W

 Press mode twice: auto mode function is activated: the

heater automatically alternates between 1000W and

2000W depending on the temperature set

 Press mode three times: fan function starts. The

appliance only blows air at room temperature

 Press mode four times: 1000W is activated again

 Set the required temperature with the “+” and “-“ keys.

The thermostat automatically switches the heating on

and off when the set temperature has been reached.

Rotating function:

 Pressing the OSC button switches the rotating function

on or off.

Timer:

 Determine how long the heater must work before

automatically switching off (max. 8 hours). Press the

timer button a number of times until the required time

is set.

Cleaning

 We advise you to clean the radiator once a month to

remove dirt and dust. This ensures the radiator will

continue working efficiently and safely.

 Do NOT clean the appliance with petrol, thinner or

other caustic products.

 Save the box for storage during periods you are not

using the radiator. When being stored the radiator

must also be protected against dirt and dust.

Guarantee

The guarantee period amounts to 2 years and

commences on the date of purchase. During the

guarantee period Eltra NV resolves any defects

caused by material or manufacturing faults. Eltra NV

may optionally either repair or replace the defective

appliance. Eltra NV is not obligated to repair or replace

units if the defect is a result of damage, misuse,

modification or changes made after the date of

purchase. Bring the defective device, along with the

original sales receipt, back to the store where the unit

was purchased. Always include a note describing the

problem.

Damage

Eltra NV can under no circumstances whatsoever be

held responsible for damage of whatever nature if the

appliance was not correctly installed according to the

specified installation instructions, nor for damage as a

result of unforeseen circumstances such as natural

disasters, lightning strike, etc. All such resulting costs

are consequently at the expense of the buyer and are

not covered by the guarantee conditions.

Used household appliance collection

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste

electrical and electronic equipment mandates that

used appliances are not allowed in the municipal

waste stream. Used appliances must be separately

collected for the optimal recovery and recycling of

materials to reduce the impact on public health and the

environment. All these products are marked with a

specific

symbol to remind of the obligations of waste

separation. Consumers must contact local authorities

or suppliers in connection with the procedure they

must follow when disposing of their household

appliances.
