Press ON/OFF repeatedly to cancel the switching
program or restore it should you have cancelled it by
mistake.
Programming the count-down function
If you press the V- key once d
ON
-- : -- appears. “d”
indicates the count-down function, “ON” indicates that
the appliance will switch on when the set time has
passed.
Press SET to set the count-down program. The “ON”
indication starts flashing.
Use V+ and V- to switch between “d
ON”
or “d
OFF
“ (*) for
the count-down function.
Press SET to confirm the count-down function and to
proceed with setting the hour.
When the hour display flashes you can use the V +
and V- keys to go forwards or backwards.
Press SET again to confirm and proceed with setting
the minute.
When the minute indication flashes you can use the V
+ and V- keys to go forwards or backwards.
Press SET a last time to confirm.
The count-down time can be set from 1 second to 99
hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
Press C.D. to start the count-down time or press
CLOCK to save the program and go back to normal
operating mode.
Press the C.D. key again to interrupt the count-down
function.

switched off during the count-down
period.
NOTE: When the random function (or count-down
function) is active, the time switch will suspend the timer
program until the random function (or count-down) is
switched off.
Random function
This function randomly switches the timer on and off. E.g.
When this function is started the timer will be switched at
a random time between 10 and 26 minutes and then
switched off at a random time between 26 and 42
minutes. The random switching on/off pattern is repeated
until the random function is switched off.
Press
RND to activate the random function.
The R icon will be shown on the display.
This function can be switched off by again
pressing
RND.
Setting summertime and wintertime
Press the CLOCK and V- keys at the same time to set
the summertime or wintertime. The current time will
advance or go back an hour. When summertime is set
an S appears on the LCD.
Safety instructions
The importer accepts no responsibility for damage
claims with respect to objects or persons that result
from incorrect use or non-compliance with the safety
instructions. All damage claims in such cases will be
declared null and void.
Guarantee conditions
The guarantee period for the PCF-212 amounts to 2
years and commences on the date of purchase. During
this guarantee period Eltra nv will repair any defects
attributable to material or production faults. ELTRA NV
may choose to either repair or replace a defective
appliance.
ELTRA NV is not obliged to repair or replace
appliances if they have become defective as a result of
damage, inappropriate use, or modifications or
adaptations made after the purchase date.
Take any defective appliance together with the original
receipt back to the shop where the appliance was sold.
Always add a note with a description of the problem.
Damage
ELTRA NV can under no circumstances whatsoever
be held responsible for damage of whatever nature if
the appliance was not correctly installed according to
the specified installation instructions, nor for damage
as a result of unforeseen circumstances such as
natural disasters, lightening strike, etc. All such
resulting costs are consequently at the expense of the
buyer and are not covered by the guarantee
conditions.
