thank you for your condence. To ensure that you enjoy using your new steamer, please
read and observe the following notes carefully, keep this instruction manual in a safe place
and pass it on to any user. Thank you very much.
Safety in use
• Make sure the details on the rating label conform to your mains voltage. Only connect
unit to alternating current.
• Place the appliance on an even surface at a safe distance to walls and cupboards, to
avoid any damage caused by steam rising.
• The appliance will become hot during use. Therefore be aware of hazards caused by
burning or scalding on touching the appliance, through steam rising or hot food. Lift the
cover slowly, turned away from the body and let the steam escape to the back. Do not
lean over the appliance while it is producing steam. Use oven gloves when touching the
cover and the steam trays. If checking to see if the food is steamed, use a long-handled
fork or tongs.
• Children are not aware of the dangers involved in the handling of electrical appliances.
Therefore, never let children operate electrical appliances unattended.
• Never leave the appliance unattended during use. Pull the mains plug to safely ensure
switch-off.
• Never let the cable hang down over the edge of the work surface.
• Always use sufcient water for the period of steaming and do not cover the water tank
with aluminium foil or any other material.
• Should water remain in the appliance when steaming is nished, leave the appliance to
cool down and only then empty the water tank.
• Never immerse the appliance in water and always pull the mains plug before cleaning
or transportation.
• Our electrical appliances comply with the relevant safety regulations. In the event of
signs of damage to the appliance or the cable, unplug the appliance immediately.
Repairs may be carried out by authorised specialist shops only. Improper repairs may
constitute a considerable danger to the user.
• This appliance is only suitable for normal household use, but not for commercial use.
• Improper use and disregard of this instruction manual will void all warranty claims.
Operation
Remove outer packaging of the appliance and equipment. Clean the cover, steam trays
and condensate collection basin before use with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry all parts
thoroughly. Wipe the inside of the base/water tank with a damp cloth.
