Changing the time and/or temperature settings during operation
• Press the “START/PAUSE” button to stop operation.
o
To alter the time, press the ”J“ button once. The minute-display will blink.
o
With the “
“ and “
N
“ button the time can be changed in minute steps.
o
To change the seconds just press the “J” button a second time. The seconds display will blink.
o
With the “
“ and “
N
“ button the time can be changed in steps of seconds.
o
To change the temperature, press the ”J“ button a third time and the temperature display will blink.
o
With the “
“ and “
N
“ button the temperature can be changed in steps of 5 °C.
• Once all settings are made, start the appliance by pressing the “START/PAUSE” button. Temperature and
remaining time values alternate in the display. The symbol for temperature display will blink as long as the
selected temperature has been reached.
Removing the frying drawer / frying basket after operation
Note: Observe the steps in “Removing and inserting the frying drawer / frying basket”.
• Once the set programme has run down, there is a 3-fold signal tone and the display shows “00:00“.
In case the frying drawer gets removed or there is no further activity within the next 10 minutes, the
appliance will switch over to standby mode.
• Remove the frying drawer / frying basket.
Mind the hot steam coming out when opening the frying drawer! Use e.g. a pot holder as a scalding
protection!
• Clean appliance and accessories after they have cooled down.
Switching off
• Once the set programme has run down, there is a 3-fold signal tone and the display shows “00:00“.
• In case the frying drawer gets removed or there is no further activity within the next 10 minutes, the
appliance will switch over to standby mode.
• With the button “ON/OFF” the frying process can be interrupted and switched to standby mode at any
time.
• For a safe switch-off pull the mains plug after each use.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING: Hazard of injury or burns!
• Always pull the mains plug prior to cleaning!
• Never immerse basic appliance, power cord and mains plug in water nor
clean under running water!
• Prior to cleaning let cool down the appliance and all accessories!
• Clean appliance and accessories after each use.
• Wipe the basic appliance inside and outside with a damp cloth and dry it afterwards.
• All accessories (frying drawer, frying basket, frying basket divider) feature a high- quality non-stick coating and
are, therefore, very easy to clean.
• Use a soft dishwashing brush and water with some washing-up liquid for cleaning. Rinse with clear water.
• In case of stubborn food residues soak the parts in some warm dishwater.
• Dry all parts thoroughly.
