in use.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Wash all the accessories in soapy

water and dry them before using the

coffee maker for the first time.

Fill the tank with cold water and fit

it into position, making sure that it is

seated properly, figure 1.

Place a container as large as possible

beneath the filter holder. Turn the

function selector (7) on hot water

position and allows all the water

to run through.

Always place the appliance on a flat

stable heat resistant surface. To clean

all the parts, run it through an

Espresso cycle but without using any

coffee, just water.

If necessary, you can stop the

operation by turning the selector to

the OFF setting (16) to empty the

container, then resume the operation.

PREPARING ESPRESSO WITH

ESPRESSO GROUND COFFEE

Fill the tank with cold water and fit it

into position, making sure that it is

seated properly, figure 1.

In order to obtain a good crema with

your Espresso, this coffee maker is

equipped with a cream disc device

(10) (13) that fits inside the filter

holder (9) like those described in

figures 2 and 3.

Place the cream disc (10)(13) in the

filter holder (9). Place the filter

(11)(14) into the filter holder. Use the

measuring spoon (12) to fill the filter

with Espresso ground coffee only -

do NOT use instant coffee (1 spoon =

1 cup, 2 spoons = 2 cups), figure 4.

Remove any Espresso ground coffee

which is lying around the filter.

Fit the filter holder (9) into its

housing. Turn the filter holder to the

right until it stops, figure 5. Do not

force it.

To prepare the coffee turn the

selector to position 18 , the

indicator light (20) will blink. When

the indicator light (20) stops blinking

the coffee maker will have reached

the right temperature to prepare the

Espresso.

Turn the switch to position (15) to

activate the brew cycle and

pre-brewing. When the cups are full,

reset the selector to the OFF setting

(16) .
