7. BATTERY

The battery is not fully charged when the device is purchased, but it contains enough energy to

power on the device. To obtain best battery performance and battery life, let the battery discharge

completely before charging it completely for the  rst three charging cycles. The device may only be

charged at ambient temperatures in a range from +5°C ... +35°C.

8. INSTALLATION OF THE nano SIM CARD

The device has two slots for nano SIM cards. These are located on the back of the unit. If you have

installed two nano SIM cards, you can choose your primary card in <Settings> <SIM cards>.

Warning

Do only change the SIM card when the device is switched o . Do not try to insert or remove the

SIM card when any external power supply is connected, otherwise the SIM card may be damaged.

9. INSTALLATION OF THE microSD CARD

The device has another slot for a microSD card (up to 32GB).

If you want to remove the microSD card, make sure the card is not being used by the device by

selecting <Settings> <Memory> <Remove SD card> <OK>.

Warning

Do only change the microSD card when the device is switched o . Do not try to insert or remove

the microSD card when any external power supply is connected, otherwise the microSD card may

be damaged.

10. SETTING PASSWORD

In settings a password is required, use standard password „1234“.

11. IMPORTANT INFORMATION! FACTORY RESET/ACTIVATE OEM MODE

If you have set up a Google

Account, it is important to proceed with the following steps before

you make a factory reset. This ensures that all private data will be deleted on the device:

<Settings> <About phone> tip seven times on <Build number> (to activate the developer

mode) back to <Settings> <Developer options> enable <OEM unlocking> enable

back to <Settings> <Backup & reset> <Factory data reset>

If you do not enable the OEM unlocking, the device will always ask you to sign in with the previous-

ly synced Google Account after the restart. In that case the device is unusable for other user.

12. KEYS AND SPECIAL FEATURES (see illustration on page 2)

1_MAGNETIC CHARGER PORT: For charging with the delivered magnetic charger cable.

2_CAMERA: Front camera.

3_POWER KEY: Long press to power ON/OFF the device. Short press to power ON/OFF the

standby mode.

4_USB-PORT: For charging the phone and to connect to other devices with the delivered USB

cable.

5_EARPHONE JACK: To connect the delivered earphone.

6_CONTROL LED: Control LEDs for charging and messages.

7_VOLUME UP/DOWN KEY: Volume up/Volume down.

8_CAMERA KEY: SOS KEY as option.

9_CURRENT APPLICATION: All programs that work in the background can be stopped here at

once or individually. Close all applications.

10_HOME KEY: To go back to the homescreen.

11_BACK KEY: Back to previous screen mask.

12_ PTT KEY: PTT key as option.

13. RECYCLING

The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, battery, literature, or packaging

reminds you that all electrical and electronic products, batteries, and accumulators must

be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life. This requirement applies

in the European Union. Do not dispose of these products as unsorted municipal waste.

Always return your used electronic products, batteries, and packaging materials to

dedicated collection points. This way you help prevent uncontrolled waste disposal and promote

the recycling of materials.

More detailed information is available from the product retailer, local waste authorities, national

producer responsibility organisations, or your local RugGear Ltd. representative.

14. INFORMATION concerning SAR certi cation (Speci c Absorbation Rate)

The SAR limit of Europe is 2.0 W/kg. The device has also been tested against this SAR limit. The

highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certi cation for use at the ear is

0.89 W/kg and when properly worn on the body is 1.83 W/kg. This device was tested for typical

body-worn operations with the back of the handset kept 5mm from the body. The device complies

with RF speci cations when the device used at 5mm from your body. The use of belt clips, holsters

and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of

accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with RF exposure require-

ments, and should be avoided.

15. FCC/IC INFORMATION

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS

standard(s).
