9) door de schroef I te verwijderen en de aanslui-
ting voor de stofafzuiging in de zelfde opening te
plaatsen.
10. ONDERHOUD VAN DE
BORSTELS EN AFZUIGER
WAARSCHUWING! Verwijder de stekker uit het
stopcontact voor u onderhoudsbewerkingen uit-
voert.
De borstels moeten worden vervangen wanneer
ze een minimum lengte van 5 mm (Fig. 8) berei-
ken.
Schroef de zwarte kapjes F (Fig. 8) los op de
behuizing en verwijder de borstels uit de gelei-
ders. Vervang ze door nieuwe RUPES-borstels
en zorg ervoor dat ze vlot bewegen in de gelei-
ders. Schroef de kapjes J terug vast en laat de
machine gedurende 15 minuten werken. Indien
de afzuiger verbrand of oneven is, moet deze
worden gerepareerd door een RUPES service
agent. Houd de draad en stekker in een goede
werkconditie.
11. GELUIDSNIVEAU EN VIBRATIES
Deze niveaus werden gemeten volgens de
Europese standaard EN50144. Het geluidsnive-
au op de werkplek kan hoger dan 85 dB (A) zijn.
In dit geval moet de gebruiker geluidsbescher-
ming dragen.
12. GARANTIE
Alle RUPES-gereedschapswerktuigen hebben
een garantie van 12 maanden vanaf de datum
van aankoop, exclusief schade die het resultaat
is van een incorrect gebruik of een natuurlijke slij-
tage op de machine. Alle reparaties moeten wor-
den uitgevoerd door de officiële RUPES techni-
sche hulpdienst.
RUPES behoudt zich het recht voor om zijn pro-
ducten te wijzigen zonder voorafgaande kenni-
sgeving.

buone condizioni.
11. LIVELLO DI RUMORI E DI VIBRAZIONI
I livelli di questo utensile sono stati misurati
secondo la norma europea EN50144. Il livello di
rumore nei locali di lavoro può superare gli 85
dB(A). In questo caso l'addetto alla macchina
dovrà adottare delle misure di protezione contro
il rumore.
12. GARANZIA
Tutte le macchine elettroportatili RUPES hanno
una garanzia di 12 mesi valida a partire della
data di consegna, con l'esclusione di tutte le
manipolazioni o danni derivanti da un uso inade-
guato o dall'usura normale della macchina.
Per qualunque riparazione rivolgersi al servizio
autorizzaro di assistenza tecnica RUPES.
La RUPES si riserva il diritto di modificare i propi
prodotti senza preaviso.

2. Before starting up the machine make sure that
the supply voltage is the same as that shown on
the specification plate.
3. Keep hands away from the cutting area at all
times and always hold the machine down with
both hands using the handles.
4. Always use original RUPES blades. Never use
incorrect, defective or faulty blades.
5. It is necessary to work with dust collection in
order to prolong the life of the blades and prevent
any breakages.
6. Avoid cutting nails. Check the work surface
before planing.
7. Wait until the machine has come to a comple-
te stop before putting it down or storing it.
8. Wear earplugs when using the machine (see
chapter 11)

3. EQUIPMENT

Inside the box you will find the following compo-
nents:
1. Planer CP 803V - set with reversible MD blades
2. Lateral fence guide

4. Spanner for fixing blades
4. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CP 803V planer is equipped with a front
shoe and a rear base with adjustable radiuses
which allow them to be adapted to convex or con-
cave surfaces for planing. The front shoe also
permits the cutting depth to be adjusted up to 3
mm. The planer is also equipped with a lateral
fence; double use, hard metal, replaceable bla-
des; a safety switch, and a dust collector connec-
tion.
5. LATERAL FENCE
Place the lateral fence L in position and secure
with knob P (Fig. 1).
It is advisable to work with the lateral fence
mounted whenever possibleto ensure perpendi-
cularity between the face of the piece and the
blade cut.
