Note: The back-up batteries must be checked from time to time to ensure that the clock of the sunrise alarm clock is still working after
mains failure and that the alarm will sound.
6.9 Reset
If irregular symbols appear on the display, or if the device does not react, you must press the "RESET" key on the reverse side of the
sunrise alarm clock. This will reset the microprocessor. After this, the sunrise alarm clock should return to normal function. Please note
that all settings (time, alarm etc.) will be deleted after reset.

7 BATTERY CHANGE
The back-up batteries must be checked from time to time to ensure that the clock of the sunrise alarm clock will function even after
mains failure and that the alarm will be on. Proceed as follows for battery change:
Open the battery compartment lid at the bottom side of the sunrise alarm clock. Insert the new batteries (three 1.5 V type LR6/R6/AA
batteries) with correct polarity and close the battery compartment lid.
Only use comparable battery types as replacement batteries; never mix used and new batteries or batteries of different types because
used batteries might leak. Changing to an incorrect battery can lead to a risk of explosion.
8 TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of malfunctions, please check the following points at first before returning the sunrise alarm clock for repair.

Why does the device not function?
Maybe, the adapter plug is not correctly inserted in the connector socket of the sunrise alarm clock, or the power adapter is not
correctly inserted in the socket.
Possibly, there is a mains failure. Check whether power is supplied by connecting another device to the socket.
Maybe, the mains adapter is damaged. Please contact the service centre.
The device does not react to the setting of different functions. What is to be done?
Press the "RESET" key at the bottom side of the device or pull out the mains adapter from the socket. Then reconnect the device to the
mains. This is to reset the device to the factory settings.
Why does the light fail to go on with the wake-up alarm?
Maybe the light intensity is set too low.
Maybe you have deactivated the LIGHT wake-up function.
Why do I hear no sound after the wake-up alarm is on?
Maybe the volume is set too low. Turn up the volume to a higher level.
Maybe you have deactivated the SOUND wake-up function.
If you have selected Radio as the wake-up sound, the radio is possibly defective. Check whether the radio works.
To this end, press the "
" key after you have switched off the alarm clock. If the radio still does not function, please contact the
service centre.
Why does the radio not function?
The radio function is presumably defective. Please contact the service centre.
Why is there a cracking noise when the radio is on?
Maybe the radio signal is too weak. Set the correct frequency.
