2. End this function by pressing INTRO again.

˿ Basic functions of the CD player

Start/interrupt play: Press PLAY/PAUSE

start or to interrupt playback. If playback was

interrupted the playing time flashes on the

display

. Press PLAY/PAUSE again to continue

playback.

Stop play: Press STOP

to end playback.

Skip track forward: Press F-SKIP

for play-

back to skip to the next track.

Skip track reverse: Press R-SKIP

for play-

back to skip to the previous track.

Fast forward: Press and hold F-SKIP

to fast

forward within a track.

Fast reverse: Press and hold R-SKIP

to fast

reverse within a track.

The CD tray

can be opened at any time. Play-

back then stops automatically. Remove the CD

only once it has come to a complete standstill.

˿ Programme tracks

[ » TRACK MEMORY « ]

The sequence of the tracks can only be pro-

grammed while the CD is stopped. Up to 64

tracks can be programmed.

1. Insert a CD.

2. Select the CD player with CD/MP3

3. Press MEMORY/PROG

{

. The display

shows PROG and P--01 for the first pro-

gramme track.

4. Select the number of the track to be played

first using F-SKIP

or R-SKIP

5. Press MEMORY/PROG. The track is now stored

as the first programmed track (P--01). The

display indicates the programme track 02

(P--02).

6. To select the next title to be stored, use F-

SKIP or R-SKIP.

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 if you wish to store

further tracks.

8. End programming by pressing MEMORY/PROG

. The programmed sequence of tracks is

stored until the CD is removed from the CD

tray, another function is activated or the unit is

switched off.

˿ Start programmed tracks

1. Press MEMORY/PROG

{

. The display

shows PROG and the first programmed track.

2. Press PLAY/PAUSE

– Playback starts in the

order which you programmed.

3. To end playback of the programmed tracks

press STOP

˿ Repeat functions

[ » REPEAT « ]

Use the repeat functions to repeatedly play

individual tracks or all tracks of a CD. These func-

tions can also be used for programmed tracks.

The repeat function remains active until this func-

tion is switched off or until playback is ended by

pressing STOP

. The function can not be com-

bined with the functions RANDOM and INTRO.

1. Press REPEAT

while the current track is

playing to repeat this particular track. The

display

indicates REPEAT 1.
