10.2 Defrosting function
Use the following table for obtaining the approx. defrosting time depending on the quantity of food you
want to defrost. If the desired quantity doesn't defrost after the set time, you may need to extend the
defrosting time. Please note that different types of food defrost faster or slower depending on the different
quantities of water they contain.
Weight Defrost time (meat) Defrost time (vegetables)
200 g approx. 3:00 minutes approx. 6:00 minutes
400 g approx. 6:00 minutes approx. 11:00 minutes
600 g approx. 9:00 minutes approx. 15:00 minutes
800 g approx. 12:30 minutes approx. 21:00 minutes
1000 g approx. 15:00 minutes approx. 26:00 minutes
Example for defrosting 500 g of mince
Use the following settings:
• Select the Defrost cooking level (230W)
• Set the cooking time adjustment knob (2) to 7 minutes.
• To achieve even defrosting results, pause the defrosting process after approx. 3:30 minutes by
opening the door (8). The defrost process stops.
• Now turn the mince.
• Close the door (8). The defrost process resumes.
• After the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal can be heard and defrosting is completed.
• Allow the mince to rest for 5 minutes before removing it.

11.1 Servicing / Repair
WARNING! Servicing or repair is required if the microwave is damaged in any way, for
example, if liquid or objects have entered the casing, if the microwave is exposed to rain or
moisture, if it is not working properly or if it has been dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual
noises or strange smells, switch the microwave off immediately and disconnect the mains plug from
the mains socket. Keep the door (8) closed to stifle any flames. If this occurs, the microwave should
not be used before it it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. All servicing or repairs
must be carried out by qualified service personnel. Never open the casing of the microwave.
