Unable to lock

bean hopper into

position

– Coffee beans obstruct-

ing bean hopper locking

device.

– Remove bean hopper.

Clear coffee beans from

top of burrs. Re-install and

re-lock bean hopper into

position and try again.

Not enough/too

much coffee grind

– Grind amount requires

adjustment.

– Press SHOTS / CUPS button

to change grind amount.

– Use GRIND AMOUNT

controller to ﬁne tune the

amount.

Portaﬁlter overﬁlls

– It is normal for the cor-

rect amount of coffee to

appear overﬁlled in your

portaﬁlter.

Untamped coffee is three

times the volume of

tamped coffee.

Emergency stop?

– Press START / PAUSE /

CANCEL button to stop

operation.

– Unplug power cord from

power outlet.



TROUBLESHOOTING

– Grinder not plugged in.

– Grinder is overheated.

attached correctly.

PLEASE LOCK HOPPER

– Remove power plug from

power outlet. Leave for 20

minutes to cool down be-

fore using again.

– Lock bean hopper into

position using the locking

knob.

Motor starts but

no ground coffee

coming from

coffee powder

outlet

– Incorrect button press.

– No coffee beans in bean

hopper.

– Grinder/bean hopper

is blocked.

– Press START / PAUSE /

CANCEL button or porta-

ﬁlter switch beneath the

coffee powder outlet to

activate.

– Fill bean hopper with fresh

coffee beans.

– Remove bean hopper. In-

spect bean hopper & grind

heads for blockage. Re-

place parts and try again.

Motor starts but

operates with a

loud ‘racket’ noise

– Grinder is blocked

with foreign item or

coffee powder outlet is

blocked.

– Moisture is clogging

grinder.

– Remove bean hopper, in-

spect burr & check if a for-

eign item is stuck. Remove

any foreign bodies.

– Clean burr heads and outlet

(refer to “Cleaning & Care”

instructions).

– Leave burrs to dry thor-

oughly before re-assem-

bling. It is possible to use a

hair dryer to blow air into

lower burr to dry faster.
