OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Corded use
The shaver may be powered by the charger if the
batteries are fully discharged.
Connect the charger cable directly to the charging
socket on the base of the shaver.
Plug the charger into mains power.
On/O button
To switch the shaver on:
Press the On/o button.
To switch the shaver o:
Press the On/o button.
Shaving the face and beard
Remove the clear protective cover from the top of 1.
the shaver.

Hold the shaver so that the shaving head is placed 3.

shaver in the opposite direction to beard growth.

NOTE: You can gently increase the amount of
pressure as your skin becomes accustomed to the
shaver. Applying excess pressure will not give a

always replace the protective cover when you have
nished shaving.
STORAGE
Switch o the appliance after use.
Clean the appliance as instructed in the ‘Care and
cleaning’ section.
Store the appliance and accessories in a safe place, out
of the reach of children.
DISPOSAL
Before disposing of this appliance, the internal
rechargeable battery must be removed for separate
disposal.
NOTE: This process is not reversible.
Disconnect the appliance from the charger.1.
Switch on the appliance and allow it to operate 2.
until it stops (battery power is exhausted).
Switch o the appliance.3.
Press the shaver head release button and open the 4.
shaver head.
Protect ngers to avoid being cut by the blades and 5.
remove the blade assembly by pulling upward.
There are 2 screws under the blade, unscrew these 6.
with a Philips screwdriver.
There is a single screw on the back at the 7.
bottom of the shaver, unscrew this with a Philips
screwdriver.
Open the housing.8.
Take out the circuit board and batteries.9.
Cut o the batteries from the circuit board.10.
CAUTION: Once the battery has been removed,
take precautions to avoid any contact between the
terminals.
Dispose of the appliance and batteries separately in
accordance with your local recycling regulations.

Shaver head
To clean the shaver head, press the shaver head 1.
release button.
The shaver head will open.
Empty the chamber under the shaver head, 2.
then clean the inside of the shaver head and the
chamber with the brush provided.
If washed, allow the components to dry thoroughly 3.
before reassembly.
Press the shaver head back into place gently on 4.

Sideburn trimmer
To clean the sideburn trimmer, slide the trimmer 1.
control downwards to open the trimmer.
Clean the cutter and the housing with the brush.2.
Main body
Wipe the main body with a soft, damp cloth.
DO NOT use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents
or cleaners. NEVER immerse in water to clean.
Using the sideburn/hair trimmer
Slide the sideburn trimmer control upwards to 1.
activate the sideburn/hair trimmer.
The sideburn trimmer will open.
Switch on the 2.
shaver.
Gently place the 3.
trimmer in the area
to be trimmed and
slowly move the
trimmer away from
the hair to trim.
After using the 4.
sideburn/hair
trimmer, switch o
the shaver and slide
the trimmer control
down to retract the
trimmer.
CARE AND CLEANING
Removing the shaver head
You can remove and dismantle the shaver head for
more thorough cleaning.
With the shaver head open -
Assembling the foils and cutters
When the components are cleaned the foils and
cutters can be re-assembled into the shaver head. Re-
assembly is a reversal of the dismantling process.
Fit a cutter into each foil, then place the foil in the
shaver head.
NOTE: The foils have two cut-outs as shown below.
These must be correctly aligned with the guides in the
shaver head.
Pull the assembly in the direction shown.
The shaver head will pull out of the shaver.
Dismantling the foils and cutters
Remove each of the three foil retainers by pressing
the clips inwards (shown in the picture below).
Carefully lift out the retainers, then the foils and
cutters.
Brush the components clean.
CAUTION: Take care when cleaning the cutters as they
are sharp.
CARE AND CLEANING
Fitting the foil retainers
With a foil and cutter assembled in the head, clip
the retainer into place.
NOTE: The clips on each retainer (arrowed) must be
correctly aligned before tting.
Continue to t the remaining foils, cutters and
retainers.
Fitting the foil assembly
After cleaning, the shaver head can be re-
assembled by pushing the hinge back into the slot
in the shaver body.
