There are many parameters in the menu functions, which
complicate or even prevent normal operation if the set-
tings are incorrect. If you receiver is acting “unusually”,
you can restart the device:
1. Press the button 12 “
” on the device to turn it off.
2. Wait until the button 12 “ ” is illuminated in red.
3. Disconnect the power plug.
4. Wait 10 seconds, then insert the mains plug back in
the socket.
5. Press the button 12 “ ” again to turn on the device.
If that doesn't help, you can reset the receiver to the de-
fault settings. This will reset all parameters to the default
values (see the “System” menu on page 15).

No sound or not all audio
channels are audible.
Speaker wired incorrectly. Check the wiring and correct it.
Audio settings are not correct.
Correctly configure the audio (see page 13 and
16).
Incorrect disc audio track selected.

Receiver muted (“MUTE”).

” to disable the mute
function.
Playback speed has been accelerated or
slowed down.

No or disrupted music
playback.
Files with a format other than MP3 or
WMA are located on the storage device.
Delete or skip the incorrect files.
File damaged.
The remote control is not
working.
No clear line of sight between the remote
control and the device.
Remove the obstacle.
Remote control not properly aligned. Point the remote control towards the device.
Batteries have been inserted in the remote
control with improper polarity.
Insert the batteries the right way around (see
visual explanation in the battery compart-
ment).
Batteries in the remote control have been
used up.
Insert new batteries.
BD Live function disrupted. No Internet connection. Test the network settings and correct them if
necessary (page 14).
No USB stick has been inserted. BD Live requires a USB stick with 1 GB of
capacity.
BD Live storage full. Check the storage and clear if necessary
(page 14).
